RLT are an amateur theatre group based at Hatherlow Wharf, Romiley, Stockport.
The Wharf is the base for our rehearsals, studio productions and social events.

In the of Winter 1897 a stranger comes to the quiet English village of Iping. Nameless and faceless he emerges from a snow-storm like some ghostly apparition. Shutting himself away from the curious locals he begins to carry out his mysterious experiments. Before long, the villagers curiosity has given way to a deadly, unseen terror… Does the Devil himself walk amongst them?
Wells prophetic tale of a scientist destroyed by his astonishing discovery has captivated imaginations for a 120 years. Following a highly successful professional premiere at Harrogate Theatre last year, friend of RLT Rob Johnston has allowed us to present this gripping new production, exploring Wells' themes of identity, self-esteem, betrayal and madness… and with just three actors.

Abbey Road Studios, 1975. Roger is recording the last track for his much anticipated second album. As his creative juices are running dry, and time is running out, the studio is invaded by Syd, a long-lost childhood friend.
Syd is unrecognisable and Roger will not accept it is the same person. As Syd begins to jog Roger’s memories and remind him of where it all started, Roger is forced to confront his past before he can play another note.
Support RLT member Jayne Marshall as ...she prepares to take her first play to the Edinburgh Fringe this August. This two-hander also stars Adam Urey and Rebecca Fenwick.
