Romney Sands Holiday Park

Great arcade and food/bar is alright too. Typical holiday park entertainment which is great for the kids (or if you're into your bingo...) Some bad experiences with the caravan park staff but everyone in the entertainment/bar staff.

Loved it...out if season. The staff were great and friendly. Food good. Would definately go again.

The food was good with daily specials including a drink, site was clean and tidy and staff were very friendly.
The caravan was a dog friendly one so was not the newest but ok.
Entertainment was not great but it is October so it is was very quiet during the week which was great for us.
The fishing in the lake was very good with plenty of good quality carp and some roach, however there is a charge of £ 5 per day which is not advertised
There is a tackle shop down the road with limited bait and tackle so take your own including a landing net which is a requirement to fish.
The beach is flat and the tide go out a very long way and has mud holes so beware.
We had a peaceful week and would come again.

Great caravan. Unfortunately we didn't have hot water on the first night as the boiler was turned off...makes me wonder how they cleaned the van. We could have called. Security for help, had we managed to get our mobiles to work (we are from Germany). It was a long day and we fell into bed totally exhausted. The next day I found the boiler and we had heating and hot water (also managed to get our phones working 😀) But that should really have been switched on before we arrived. The caravan could have been cleaned. They had attempted to clean it before our arrival, as there were puddles of water on the floor...well I hope that was from cleaning...also, it looks clean if you don't look in the corners or under the radiator when you come in trough the door! But we gave the caravan a quick clean as we have a 5 month old baby that rolls around on the floor and sticks everything in his mouth. My main problem was with the spiders! There were loads of them! I mentioned it the next morning at reception and someone half-heartedly wiped over the big front window, leaving the little ones either side out! So we continued to have a spider problem on all the windows. I didn't dare open them to air incase they crawled in. Thankfully there weren't any inside the van.
We didn't find the time to go to the entertainment section of the park as we were out everyday.
What I didn't like is that they didn't have any mattress protection on the beds.
But overall it was a great stay and I would stay there again.

Absolutely love this park. One of the best Park resorts that we have been to. The little train running through the park with its own station is unique in itself. Great entertainment, lively swimming pool, tennis court, bowling green, play area. One of our favourites parks. Recommend.

Really enjoyed our weekend break here. Andy and Charlie, excellent children club entertainers, best of all ParkDean Resort entertainers. Site has shop, amusements and swimming pool.

Nice place for a break from London. Pretty good sandy beach. Two swimming pools are good. Evening entertainment is fun if you like that sort of thing

Nice quiet area. Clean and tidy holiday Park. Not bad entertainment.

Had a really nice long weekend here with the kids who had so much fun so that's all that matters caravan was virtually brand new inside
