Been there, done that üòÇ

So, most of you must be wondering what is going on over here. We haven't posted any reviews since Bring Me The Horizon's amo around the start of the month.
Well, it's because we are switching hosts, as in the site hosts. So we are backing everything up manually (which is taking a bit of time), before rononsreviews.com ceases to exist for a short spell.
But don't worry, firstly, this isn't the end of us, in fact we will come back super stronger, with a brand new website, that ...will be flashier and a lot sleeker! We would've also updated all the old reviews so everything has the same setup and outline. And it will have incorporated all the new and exciting ideas we have for Ronon's Reviews this year.
Secondly, we are aiming to be a little more active on our social media during this brief hiatus. Expect funny pictures, mini reviews on things and much more!
rononsreviews.com will offline from the 13th of March until May 2019. We can't wait to show you what we have planned and see you then.

This is a story that surfaced almost 2 years ago in the midst of the festival fiasco, but since the recent success of the Fyre doco on Netflix, it’s catching once again some heat (pun intended).

The Lonely Island (Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer) and Seth Rogen have been toying with the idea of making a spoof project about a music festival that goes horribly wrong for a while, but the good news comes from Taccone himself that just recently told The Daily Beast that the four are still indeed working on this, and I’m BEGGING them to hurry up! I don’t know how this mockumentary could top the actual events, but I bet it will be hilarious nonetheless.

Just a few short hours ago, Disney dropped a 'Special Look' trailer of the upcoming Aladdin by Guy Ritchie, during the Grammy Awards.
While I applaud Jasmine and the titular Aladdin who look spot on... Jafar looks and sounds like he is 12, not the big bad to fear. And Will Smith? I'm not sold, Check it out for yourselves and comment your thoughts.

‚ú®Track of the Week: 'Like a God' by Stain The Canvas
Happy Sunday folks, today I want to share 'Like a God', which came out on Friday from Stain The Canvas, an Italian Nu-/ Melodic Metalcore act.
'Like a God' is their first ever single and kicks some serious arse! With a sound quite similar to Bring Me The Horizon during their earlier career, 'Like a God' is loud, aggressive and ensures it has your full attention! The chorus and bridge both stand out for me as I found them ...to be earworms in their own right.
Seriously, I can't wait to hear what these amazingly talented dudes release next, and hope it is super soon!

üî• Band Spotlight: TIGERCUB üî•
The three piece from Brighton, UK, has been on the scene for at least 6 years, but they have only gotten a real debut recently, with their Alt Rock with Grunge call backs. I really like Tigercub because I find their sound very Garage and raw, with very direct lyrics.
... Jamie Hall (vocals and guitar), Jimi Wheelwright (backing vocals and bass), and James Allix (drums) are a must follow because they now scratch like tigers! I also have to mention their music videos that I often find hilarious, insane and demented.
The most interesting tracks in my opinion are: ‘Control’, which is part of the only album recorded in 2016 called Abstract Figures In The Dark, together with ‘Omen’, ‘Memory Boy’ and ‘Black Tides’, but also the singles ‘Faking Laughter’, ‘Antiseptic’, ‘It's Only Love’, ‘Centrefold’ and ‘The Divided States of Us’, the latter especially reminds me of the style Kasabian had, before they changed their sound.

Attention all UK based Rononians!
I've been a fan of Gojira ever since I reviewed #Magma a few years ago, then had the privilege of seeing them live when they opened for Alter Bridge just after.
So I know I'm not wrong when I say this tour will be EPIC! The French Metal masters will be hitting 3 venues in Birmingham, London and Manchester in late June - early July.
