Who has that Friday feeling yet?

The place a simple cozy, my fiancé and I enjoyed the fantastic meal. The staff was very attentive to the service and very polite. Highly recommended.

Smart restaurant on top of the Ashmolean museum with views over Oxford and an outdoor seating area for those warmer summer days. Food is reasonably priced and good quality - I especially recommend the celebration afternoon tea for a treat. Will definitely return here the next time we are in Oxford.

Lovely lunch on the roof. Children's meal was "delicious". Service was good (Iva (?) was excellent) - when it got very busy other waiting staff were bought in - October warm sunny day so it was popular to be outside!

Delicious, beautifully presented food at lunchtime yesterday! We had the special America’s Cool Modernism menu after visiting the exhibition! Excellent wine list and first class service! My only comment would be it was very warm in there and the room needed some air circulating! Had the weather been nicer I guess we could have opted for the outside roof terrace! Enjoyed my relaxed lunch and look forward to going again soon.

A very enjoyable evening spent with hubby & daughter. Limited menu but made a welcome change not to be overwhelmed with choice. We all had 3 courses - all agreed each dish was delicious & washed down with Prosecco & a good Malbec. Great service which was not at all affected by how busy it was, great atmosphere & live jazz too! Fabulous �

We liked the rooftop restaurant, good food and great atmosphere.

Superb location, atmosphere and delicious food marred slightly by haphazard service (they mixed up our booking but they fit us in at least, we had to remind them to bring the nibbles which them came with the main, and had to remind also for the side dish) though the staff were all very friendly and plentiful.

Lovely atmosphere, great location and good service. Menu a little limited in choice but food we had was delicious. I was disappointed we couldn't sit outside as one table remained empty the whole time we were there and on an extremely hot day even with all the doors to the rooftop open it was very warm. It was my third visit and I would definitely go back again

I really enjoy the rooftop restaurant. Never had poor service or a bad meal here. Fab views, lovely restaurant with cheery staff and a great outdoor space. Made even better by the deckchair area I spotted yesterday. Makes a great visit to the Ashmolean even better by drinks on the rooftop. And their Sunday roasts are yummy!

Superb location. Service good. Food over-priced ÷ basic home cooking at fine dining prices. Wine and limoncello okay.

Somewhere always wanted to go. Lovely informal feel and flowers on the roof terrace are beautiful. Menu a bit disappointing but brisket was lovely until I got to the virtually raw potatoe. Waiter was apologetic but all they did was take off the 'discretionary' service charge! A free coffee would have been nicer. Staff busy setting up for afternoon tea so service patchy. A bit frantic to maximise profits.

My sister and I called into the dining room for a drink on recently; lovely venue, pleasant friendly staff but why oh why are you still using plastic straws in your drinks. I'm perfectly able to drink my g&t without a straw let alone 2. Totally unnecessary use of single use plastic which will end up in landfill or polluting our rivers and seas for 100's of years to come.

Please reconsider and #STOPThePlasticTide.

It's a nice venue, but sadly very poor service let's it down. Our main course arrived at the table before our first course had been cleared away, which because the tables are small, wasn't ideal. Our side dish to accompany our main didn't arrive until after we had finished eating!

Too stuffy, uncomfortable environment, could open a door and let some fresh air in to freshen the air. As for the quantity of coffee in the small cup, hopeless.

Chipped milk jug didn’t impress, salmon n and sourdough was acceptable. Grand views over Oxford as per the marketing blurb is stretching things a little. Overall, underwhelmed.

Unfriendly reception, four of us looking for afternoon tea, seated at small table making it so tight for crockery, champagne, tea pots, sandwiches it made the event nervy and uncomfortable.... adjacent tables sandwich and cakes slipped between the slated table top bringing everything crashing down... to top it all, sandwiches, cakes etc. we’re poorly filled and dry. Would have helped had everything not been brought to table at once....poor staff awareness and training. Would NOT recommend this to anyone. Very disappointed.
