Roosters Piri Piri Southend

Went to Roosters today for 1st time. Best wrap I've ever had!! Friendly staff, spaced out seating, gorgeous food and great prices. However do think some of the drinks are a little too much.. Will definitely be back for more!! Yummmmmy!!!! Also my son had the vegetarian platter and was very impressed!

We had the wings platter and a kids meal for our daughter. Staff were efficient and polite. Food was amazing ! Such good flavours! Will be going back very soon

Tried here for the first time Sunday, awaiting delivery now ( Thursday). Beautiful, tasty food, very reasonable prices, lovely staff with a warm welcome. Bye Bye Nandos, hello Roosters. Highly recommend !!!!

Really lovely food the chicken is so tasty very friendly place the manager is very nice and warming would recommend anytime

I was not too sure about coming here at first as I always go to nandos but I can say it is much better and the chicken tastes much better and always comes out really hot. The service is also really good and staff are really nice. I will definitely keep coming here instead of nandos

I have been here a few times now and its amazing! Been today and the food was great, the service was great, the atmosphere was great and all at a wonderful price. Would always recommend :)

2nd time ive been here and still as good as the 1st time. I took my hubby, 2 daughters, son & Granddaughter. My eldest daughter hadnt been before but loved the food. It was very fast service and friendly and we spent about 2 and a half hours here. My daughter loved it so much she ordered dessert and the chocolate cake is amazing. I had the chicken wrap and was so filling i gave one of my wraps to hubby (he'd just eaten the chicken in a bun). Definately be back again xx

Came for my Birthday yesterday evening, the food was really well seasoned and we had a really good time ^_^

Great for eating in and always really enjoy the food when I do. Good quality for a good price....... Unfortunately, on the other side they have a terrible delivery service. The order turned up 45 mins later than estimated delivery time (took 90 mins in total - we only live 10 mins from restaurant). The food was stone cold and really unappetising. We tried to call to complain but couldn't get through on the phone so had no choice but to eat it as we were so hungry. Everything was just soggy. Such a shame as I loved this place before this disappointing service.

Food was nice, but the staff appeared less than interested in giving us the piri piri experience. They appeared bored to be there.

Well they got half the orders wrong, and when they came back with the one of the orders it was still wrong and then the waitress 'what's wrong now?!' Then muttered 'for f**k sake' and then we had to get a refund as the rest of us had finished our meals.

Very bad customer service last night.



Served dry chicken to my partner, she ate hardly any of it and then the restaurant wouldn't offer a refund.



Waitress even admitted that the cook didn't baste the chicken with oil when they were cooking it.



Only option offered was a fresh batch, even though I had finished eating and my partner said 3 times she didn't want that. At one point they even suggested taking the dry chicken in the back to put oil on it as if that would somehow make it better. I'm sure the environmental health would have something to say about that....



If you make a mistake YOU pay for it, not the customer.

The worse of my life! I came here for lunch with 4 of my friends. They got all 3 of our orders wrong with no apology. When my friend tried to explain to the staff what she ordered the member of staff took the order to change and brought out another dish. The member of staff then came over again and said "what's wrong now" in a very rude manner. My friend explained that the order was very spicy and she asked for plain due to medical conditions. The member of staff then muttered 'for f*** sake'" and then took the dish back. My friend then requested for a refund as we were late back for a lecture. I do not recommend this place and will not be returning again! The staff are rude and incompetent and clearly have no communication or customer service skills!

The staff are just plain rude would never recommend.

Terrible customer service tonight. Will not be returning. Complained and refused a refund. I basically paid for someone to make a mistake with my food leaving it inedible. Waiter was lovely tried to rectify mistake but manager basically made up customer service on the spot.
