Went for tea for sons birthday, friendly staff , good food, cocktails � and � music , thankyou roots ��

We went upstairs on our recent visit which seemed as if it might be a bit quiet but actually it filled up and was lovely. The staff were super friendly and helpful and as usual the food (and cocktails 😘) were gorgeous. Thanks we had a great girls night xxxx

This was my first time here, and I have to say that the food was ok and the service was amazing. We weren’t left having to try and collar a waiter if we needed anything else. He was every now and again asking us if everything is to our satisfaction and offering to get us more drinks if we’d like them. Nice food and friendly staff

Just had the Santiago chicken and it was the best I’ve ever tasted it. Always have wonderful food here but today was on another level. Everything was so fresh so much so it tempted me and my friend to have a couple of the cocktails. Not only did we have a fantastic meal at lunch time prices we had 2 for 1 on the cocktails. They were amazing and served by the loveliest young lady who’s service was second to none.

Had a fantastic afternoon yesterday. The food was delicious. Phil the bar manager is absolutely brilliant. He was very friendly and made us feel really welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you will definitely return. Highly recommended.

Always love the food from roots it's my favourite restaurant. However, my partner had the curried goat and thinks it should have a notice on the menu saying it may have bones in as eating anything off the bone makes him feel ill and he had quite abit of bone in his meal.

1st visit to this place and will DEFO be going again. Service was brill, food was excellent and fairly priced and you get a decent portion. Music was fab as well

Food good cocktails good music is not reggae needs more beenie man and obvs bob Marley to even cut it like the one in hull

Daughter chose this place as it was her birthday treat.

We were seated quickly and order for food was taken within 15 minutes. Downside was we waited around l hour for our starters and an additional wait for the main course. As there was a few of us not all members of our party had starters. Hence the hour and a half wait for main course.

Food was nice and the cocktails were lovely x
