We were there yesterday to collect our caravan , and on handover we were given a detailed run through of the caravan by James Roper. James along with Steve the Sales Manager could not have been more helpful and nothing was any trouble. The retail shop also had everything you need to get away. We had very good service today. The exchange of a fifteen year old Ranger, and purchase of a new caravan went very smoothly. It was all very congenial, businesslike and straightforward. We are very excited and eagerly anticipate future caravanning experiences.

We took the decision to trade in our beautiful caravan with a heavy heart then last week picked up our "new to us" Bailey Unicorn Madrid 2012 from Ropers and all our worries disappeared. The team from start to finish were excellent. We are extremely happy with our lovely new caravan and are looking forwards to many happy holidays/breaks for years to come.

Special thanks to John in sales for making the changeover so simple. Many thanks too for the rest of the team that made the experience a happy one.

So - we're on route to the Highlands when our roof light flies off the top of our VW T25 (long story), next junction was Catterick so we pulled in at Ropers, the entire team were a shining example of 5 star customer service, new roof light fitted within half an hour - crisis averted. When it comes to servicing and our next purchase there's nowhere else we would even consider visiting, great job guys! (red hightop with 2 crazy dogs, just to jog your memory - thanks loads)

Ropers, you've made this family very happy! Drove down from Scotland to collect our brand new Bailey Jive this weekend, and were met by such a warm welcome from the minute we arrived. Everyone was on hand to help us switch over caravans and made it all as easy as possible - even with an excited 5 year old to deal with. A HUGE thank you to Yvonne, John and the team for your amazing and faultless customer care from start to finish - including pulling out all the stops to get us our lovely new caravan as quickly as possible. Purchased a new caravan from Ropers whilst at the NEC, we collected from Ropers at Catterick and was extremely impressed with the hand over, also on the week before when we dropped our old van in they checked it over and unhitched for me. I was also pleased they didnt try any hard sell on extras or add ons. Thank you.

Been in the other day to check on a couple of warranty items and what a difference from my old service agent. All the staff i spoke to were polite and courteous and even though we have no update I still left feeling very happy.

I would just like to say again thank you very much.

Our first trip of the year heading down to North Yorkshire my wife and I pulled into a lay by for a cup of tea, to our horror the battery compartment was open and everything was gone; battery, battery leads and tray. We decided to continue our journey to Kirby Knowle from where we rang Ropers caravans at Catterick. Steve the manager asked us to take it in and he would sort something out for us. A man to his word, he organised the technicians to sort it out while we had refreshments in the on site cafe. To our surprise within a short time everything was replaced and up and running. Our grateful thanks to Steve and his team for a very professional job, at a very reasonable price. Our holidays were salvaged and I would recommend Ropers to anyone. Kim & Jacqui.

Just bought a fabulous caravan from Ropers. The service was 1st class from start to finish. Cannot fault the staff, friendly and knowledgeable especially John and Doug. I will be going back again when I decide to change my van.

I cannot rate this company highly enough. They provide a first class service and are to be recommended. I contacted them on Tuesday because the pump on my Bailey Motorhome would not operate. I spoke over the phone to Steve Allerston and explained the problem, and he told me just to pop in the next day at 11am and he would have a look. True to his word at 11am there was Steve and he only took a few minutes to identify the problem and carry out a repair at no cost to myself. It was a rusty wire that had disconnected from the spade connector. A design fault on the Bailey is my opinion. I cannot thank Steve enough for his service and attitude when carrying out the repair and would recommend anyone to visit this company when in the area.

Having owned a caravan (not the same one!) for over 40 years We’ve done the rounds of caravan dealerships and can honestly say that the best experiences have been when purchasing from Ropers Caravans. We feel the company has gone from strength to strength and the service on my most recent purchase has been exceptional. John Holliday who sorted out an excellent deal was a lovely person to negotiate with – well, there wasn’t really much negotiating to do because he offered a very fair exchange. Steve Allerston who conducted the handover was very thorough and professional – clearly answering any questions we had. We mustn’t forget the pleasant staff in the coffee shop where we enjoyed a complimentary drink while paperwork was being finalised. A huge thank you to all and compliments on a great business. Having had problems with the leisure battery charging on our Bailey motorhome whilst way for a few days,I rang Ropers to see if it was possible for someone to have a quick look at it.Called in the next day and Steve duly had a look at it and found the problem very quickly.He replaced the faulty part and Half an hour later we were on out way.

Truly wonderful service and in fact the motorhome is now booked in for an awning rail to be fitted.There again he came up with a good idea regarding fitting the rail.

I have no hesitation in recommending Ropers as it was good old fashioned service that is hard to find these days.(showing my age now!!!!!)

Cannot recommend enough - helpful friendly service, nothing is too much trouble and everyone is well informed about caravans - they'll give you expert advice and support whether you are new to caravanning or an old hand. My family and I visited 3 times looking for our very first van. When we decided on a brand new caravan, we wanted to know what we could get for our money. After all this was a big investment. They come down on the ticket price and included a limited starter pack. We were over budget so asked if they would come down, but they said no. That's not a problem, after all they're a business.



What ticked us off was that despite willing to buy a van that day and, spending 2 days already going over what we needed, they weren't at all interested anymore. The sales guy said he would ask the manager to see if there was any movement on the price. Even if there wasn't he would give us a courtesy call. (Manager was in a meeting)



Well to our surprise he never called! In that time we found the exact same van, same price, but this new dealer 'Teesside Caravans' (TC) gave us an even better deal. We never told them about Ropers until after the deal was agreed. Plus the starter pack TC included a lot more items, some superior quality.



It's daft but Ropers lost out on our custom over a simple call. Because they couldn't be asked to say 'sorry but that's the best we can do' is why we'll never go there again. It's the small things that count and although we're only a drop in the ocean, keep this up and you'll see your custom fade.



Finally, our superb sales rep at TC said "That's another Ropers customer we've stolen". Looks like we weren't the first........and certainly won't be the last!

I have no hesitation in recommending Ropers as it was good old fashioned service that is hard to find these days.(showing my age now!!!!!)

If you want good old-fashioned integrity and honesty from lovely people then use this place. Cannot recommend enough - helpful friendly service, nothing is too much trouble and everyone is well informed about caravans - they'll give you expert advice and support whether you are new to caravanning or an old hand. It's good to see that quality products and high standards of customer care can still be found. Fantastic service and friendly approachable staff. Not pushy and if they don't know something they will say so and find out rather than try and baffle you. Just bought a new van even though further to travel. Based on experience there and also a lovely cafe :)

My family and I visited 3 times looking for our very first van. When we decided on a brand new caravan, we wanted to know what we could get for our money. After all this was a big investment. They come down on the ticket price and included a limited starter pack. We were over budget so asked if they would come down, but they said no. That's not a problem, after all they're a business.



What ticked us off was that despite willing to buy a van that day and, spending 2 days already going over what we needed, they weren't at all interested anymore. The sales guy said he would ask the manager to see if there was any movement on the price. Even if there wasn't he would give us a courtesy call. (Manager was in a meeting)



Well to our surprise he never called! In that time we found the exact same van, same price, but this new dealer 'Teesside Caravans' (TC) gave us an even better deal. We never told them about Ropers until after the deal was agreed. Plus the starter pack TC included a lot more items, some superior quality.



It's daft but Ropers lost out on our custom over a simple call. Because they couldn't be asked to say 'sorry but that's the best we can do' is why we'll never go there again. It's the small things that count and although we're only a drop in the ocean, keep this up and you'll see your custom fade.



Finally, our superb sales rep at TC said "That's another Ropers customer we've stolen". Looks like we weren't the first........and certainly won't be the last!
