What could I be writing for you?

It's been a long summer but the boy is now back at school and I am re-adjusting to working during daylight hours.
Although I worked a lot over the holidays, I was writing for specific projects that didn't leave me any time to think about marketing myself. Now I've finally got around to looking at social media, networking and more and I realised that my website has been woefully abandoned while I've been busy.
I'm still advertising workshops (something I haven't done for a w...hile) and I haven't updated my testimonials or examples of work I've completed for clients for a long time.
And how about you? What state is your website in?
When you are next waiting for the kettle to boil, use those few minutes to view your site with fresh eyes and check whether your website is doing you justice. Is it merely functional or does it really sell you to potential new clients?.
Does your homepage feel welcoming and, at the same time, sum up precisely what you can offer them?
Does your 'About Me' page give them an insight into who is behind your business and why they should choose you over your rivals?
Does your contact page make it easy for them to see how to get in touch?

So today I attended Rosalind’s Blogging workshop...learnt loads, lots of information and some practical exercises which were really helpful. I am now much better equipped to write a blog and after attending the fantastic writing workshop before Christmas, the words, should flow with ease! Definitely recommend attending one of Rosalind’s workshops which are affordable, packed with information and a great way to meet other business owners too. Thank you and well done Rosalind 👍🏻

Rosalind's Business Blogging workshop was definitely a morning well spent! I've come away with pages of blog ideas and am feeling very motivated to finally start blogging more regularly. The session was really professionally run with lots of thought-starters for blogging which could be applied to the wide variety of businesses around the table but relaxed enough that we could all ask lots of questions (and the best part was no-one had to read anything out!). Thank you!

I've been struggling with my writing for some time (and I'm talking years rather than months trying to finish a course that has been tricky on my own. I cannot praise the workshop enough for giving me the time and space to write in an environment that is friendly, uplifting and supportive. I met Rosalind a few weeks ago and she told me about her Blogging Workshop and when I returned home, I instantly booked onto her course and attended it yesterday. It was well structured and interactive and got me thinking about all sorts of areas I could write about as well as learning the new art of free writing. I really enjoyed the workshop as it was a small, friendly group where we chatted about each other's businesses and gave feedback to each other as well as understanding what blogging is about and how it helps our growth as a business. I had been trying to write an article to promote my therapy and coaching business for an online wellness site for months but it kept falling to the bottom of my list and i had rough drafts all over the place. I contacted Rosalind as i was launching a treatment programme and had run out of time to publicise it. She was brilliant, she immediately told me her availability, looked at my rough draft and produced a first draft within a couple of days, she advised me on aspects of submitting to the website and she had a really clear understanding of the topic even though its a specialist area. I decided to change direction with my article and she was so flexible, requiring minimal information to make the changes i needed. From months of trying i had a great finished article submitted within a week of contacting Rosalind, a great relief. Highly recommended!

I attended one of Rosalind's workshops today - a lovely group of people, relaxed atmosphere and now feeling inspired to get creating a few more blogs! Would recommend to anyone with a small business who fancies dipping their toe into the world of blogging. Thanks Rosalind.
