Lovely pub and fantastic food... highly recommended

Had fab meal will def go again we go for drinks there regular as we can take the dog in.Also lovely in the cooler months when the fires are lit.New bear garden now that's also very nice

New management making an immense difference ! Great food and cosy atmosphere resulted in us having a fantastic meal and a wonderful evening overall - well done !!

Went in after a hunt for Sunday lunch at 1.50pm on a Sunday was sadly met with early closures or no food being served in many of the other Beverley pubs. Eventually asked someone who recommended the Rose and Crown. First impressions were of a good smelling (real fireplaces and food smelled good) light and clean pub/restaurant. Food is served until late and the waitress was very welcoming and quick to help us to a table. The menu had been incorrectly printed to include an item which wasn't available on Sundays but which two of our party wanted. The waitress and staff went out of their way to find out if there was any way it could still be made, and two were made specially for us. Above and beyond. Food was delicious, and well portioned, but the ale selection is limited. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Would definitely recommend and return.
