Happy New Years everyone

We attended the anniversary celebrations on 21st of May. The food was great with lots of choice. Staff were fab and nothing was too much trouble 👍

We are so lucky to call the Roshni our local curry house, as normally we have takeout. Tomorrow is my birthday so it was great to celebrate with Sunday lunch at the Roshni. What a treat! Today we had a mixed platter of starters and we loved them all, particularly the fish pakora. We enjoyed a selection of currys, chicken tikka masala, lamb curry and chicken curry in a bangladeshi style. Everything was lovely, many thanks

The quality of food here, whether you're eating in or taking out, is excellent.

The depth of flavour is really good and unlike some Indian restaurants, every dish here looks and tastes different.

The helpful and friendly staff look after you well and nothing is too much trouble.

Our absolute favourite Indian restaurant and we travel past many others to get to it, even for takeout.

Really enjoyed our meal here, staff are always friendly and the service was good. Would definitely recommend.

Me and my family went here for Christmas Day yesterday and it was perfect, we use this place a lot and love it. Amazing staff, faultless food just brilliant!

It was a busy night last night but the staff still served us promptly with delicious food.

In 11 years have never been disappointed in our meal . Always have our take away form Roshni , but eating in especially you are made to feel so welcome and looked after . Nothing is too much trouble . Would always recommend to friends and family thank you to all the staff

I live in NYC and nothing compares to the Roshni! The food is impeccable, the service is 5 stars and Sam & team are the most accommodating and welcoming staff imaginable. My family and I always go out of our way to eat daily at the Roshni when visiting Stoke-on-Trent! My only complaint would be they don’t deliver overseas or have a location in the USA!

I have known the owner Sammi for many years and the business has gone from strength to strength. Fabulous currys and lovely atmosphere

Great atmosphere, great takeaway, great service, great food, great value. This is where we go if we want great night. It's low key and quiet so can cater couples and bigger parties, it's child friendly too, the staff are attentive but not hovering over you. It's a great little restaurant and the takeaway is great too.

Best Indian Meal for miles around. Some takeaway meals from other places taste different to the sit in experience but not this one, they are just the same. Brill

5 star rating for food as it was excellent we came for the banquet menus which we ordered not very good explanation over what sides available so we ordered food it all came very nice asked for the bill which came to see it was more than we expected we made a query to be told rice wasn't a side again excepted that the mix up but to be charged nearly 30 pound extra for 4 nan's a pint a lemonade and chips is not right I don't think we will be back after this such a shame....

Took visiting family for a meal last night, food was fantastic as always but the service was atrocious. We were asked what we would like to drink immediately but they didn't come to our table for a half an hour. No one came to take our food order for 45 minutes, we had to tell a waiter we were ready when we could finally pin one down. After 40 minutes we had to ask again if our food was ready. Very disappointing

Smell of drains as you walk into the restaurant which was very off putting. It's a shame because the food itself was nice.



We felt that the waiter was watching us and the moment we put our folks down he wizzed towards us wanting to collect our plates but then realised we had not finished on a number of occasions which was off putting.

Nicest Indian food ever .... worst service and drinks ever!! Rude staff flat beer, unless you are cheeky you are rammed in a corner plus smiles are unheard off until it's bill time!! Not sure how you get your reviews Roshni as this isn't the first time we have felt like this!! Definitely don't recommend for a nice happy night out!!

Took over an hour to get served. We had to ask twice to even have food order taken! Should have known to leave right there.



Staff were just plane rude - no idea how to speak to people. “Yes, what do you want?”



Curries were all really good as usual but nan breads were both burned and undercooked.



That was my last time at the roshni I’m sure! Very poor.
