At Rosie's Chocolate Factory we offer a range of workshops, parties, and experiences that are suitable for all age groups. In the past, our workshops have been used for the following events:
Birthday Parties - Hen Parties - Teambuilding Events - Corporate Entertainment - School and Educational Workshops - Guides and Brownies Courses - Professional Courses - Group Outings - Nights Out
Chocolate Making Workshops
Ideal for corporate events or a teambuilding exercise, our chocolate making workshops run all day, every day, including evenings and weekends. During the workshop each participant will make three large chocolate bars, with inclusions of their choice, as well as a chocolate lollipop that features edible transfers. The workshops require a minimum of four participants, but are limited to a maximum of 15. We are, however, flexible with regards to bookings, offering both on-site and off-site workshops. The cost of the workshop is £25 per person.

Rosie’s Chocolate Factory - Coronavirus Update
We are still open!
We find ourselves in uncharted waters in an uncertain world with many worries. The official advice is to avoid clubs, pubs, restaurants and places and appears to be centred around keeping away from public environments where the virus may be on surfaces, where there is a flow of people in and out who you would not otherwise come into contact with.
... The Chocolate Factory is a sealed environment, not open to the public to visit, and for food hygiene reasons is already kept spotlessly clean with additional cleaning protocols now in place. I already insist that all participants wash their hands on arrival, that has been extended to last for 20 seconds (the children love singing Happy Birthday!) and now includes all parents and others who may be bringing their children.
Most bookings are for groups of families or friends who will be socialising together anyway, often in the same house or workgroup. Therefore coming to the Chocolate Factory should be no more of a risk than spending time with your friends and family elsewhere. Clearly you must stay away if you have any of the known symptoms or live with/share space with anybody who has symptoms of the virus. I am symptom-free and have a staff back up plan for if I do get ill.
Therefore I have made the decision to keep the factory open for business. Unless the government insist on closing down all businesses I will remain open.
I am a small, independent and very hard working business that provides a service for local families and groups. I need people to keep coming for my business to survive, keep me from bankruptcy and ensure I can to my best to still be here when this is all over If you want to book a session I will no longer be talking deposits, allowing you to make last minute decisions.
I will be designing a “Covid-19 chocolate survival pack” which will be available to purchase at workshops and over the phone for local delivery or collection.
