Rossini Italian Restaurant

Went with the family to celebrate my Birthday on a very busy Saturday night, The services wasn't the best a very abrupt Italian lady, but soon realised she was rushed off her feet, but the food was amazing, all 8 guests enjoyed there starters and mains, the Italian lady made a few mistakes with our order but got to take my hat off to her she couldn't apologise enough and took three starters off our bill without us even asking, so if you like good Italian food this is the place, in fact booked to go again the food was that good

We have travelled a far way for many italialian restaurants and have never had such amazing food as this on our doorstep. We ordered tagliatelle. OH MY GOODNESS! Perfectly cooked, great portion size, amazing seasoning and sauce, generous with the amount of meat.The desserts were also phernominal. The icecream tasted like it was freshly made with real fruit, the cake was beautifully presented and we were also pleasantly supprised with a good size portion for the desserts aswell! Level of service was 10/10. The waitness couldn't do enough for us and the service was fast yet made so beautifully. Pricing was very reasonabe. For us for main, dessert and drinks it worked out about £17 a head. Restaurant was beautifully laid out with candles to create a beautiful atmosphere. We dressed casually and felt comfertable but at night I would say it's a jeans and shirt type venue. Bill was hand written and broken down for us and everything felt beautifully personal and relaxed.



Only suggestion would be to add the option of a gratitudy to the card machine as we would of tipped more.

Our first time at rossini..... Omggggg it was absolutely amazing food was the best I have tasted in a very long time.... Both waitress was very nice and helpful. Service with a smile every time....... So polite and helpful

Last minute booking on Easter Sunday. When we arrived there was a large party of people there already. Prepared ourselves for a long wait for our food. However we were pleasantly surprised by the speed at which our food came out. The meal was wonderful. Best I’ve had for a while. Thanks to all at Rossini for a great dining experience.

Just had our first meal here, long overdue tbh, But it was lovely, 3 classic Italian mains and all stunning. I couldn't fault it. 3 puddings too as a treat for Father's Day and again very nice. Chilled place, what's not to like. 5 minutes from home, win win!!

Ive not had a bad meal yet, i’ve probably been every month and have always been satisfied and will keep returning. Very accommodative and friendly. A gem for woodhouse and would highly recommend.

Iv wanted to visit for a while, went last night and it was lovely, the food was really tasty and the service was excellent. Thank you for a lovely evening, will definitely be returning soon �

I was there on Sunday 5th August with a large group of people. We had pre ordered the starters and mains and we were served quickly food was hot and nicely presented. Dessert was also good would definitely recommend it and go again.

Had the steak Rossini last night and I think it was the best fillet I have ever had in a restaurant.... so pleased that you can still find great food in local restaurants!!! Keep it up Rossini - will definitely be back ���

Had a lovely meal there last week. We were unaware of the changes to the alcohol policy as they now serve some drinks. The chap who served us was very polite in explaining and allowed us to drink what we had brought along. We will know for next time. Food was impeccable as always and great value.

First time to Rossini with my hubby and youngest daughter for my birthday � we were not disappointed!! Lovely meal cooked fresh to order by obviously talented chefs and the two front of house young ladies were really lovely. We are lucky to have such a great restaurant in our village and we'll definitely be visiting again ....... thank you ���

Fantastic Food, Great Atmosphere, Good Service which was warm and friendly. What more do you need for a fabulous night out. We took our own drinks, but you can now buy wine and beer in the redteraunt. Well done. We loved it. �

Excellent service and very good food. The pasta is excellent although could do with buffalo mozzarella on the pizzas.

Brilliant! Came with a large group of friends for a joint birthday. Lovely atmosphere, staff were polite and friendly! We had a little wait on food due to there only being 1 chef but we were made aware of this as soon as we arrived. The food was definitely worth the wait..AMAZING! � will definitely be coming again!

Bit late leaving this review but a group of 7 of us went on Tuesday 13th February. The food was absolutely amazing, none of us were disappointed. The service was great, starters were lovely and the mains were really tasty. We go regularly as a group and have never had a bad experience. Can’t rate this place high enough.

Absolutely love this place,went there on Thursday and the food was excellent,the staff were attentive and welcoming .It's defiantly a place to visit and it's a hidden diamond in a local village.Since these have changed owners the food is better than ever!!

Always loved it here however tonight despite ringing asap that people were I'll so couldn't make it. Offering that 2 of us could go early so they could use the table, when we arrived got told off as allegedly he had turned a table of 15 away.. ....really not sure how 4 people not turning up equates to 15?

The night was redeemed though by a really friendly Geordie lass ( well that way on) who was very attentive, funny and professional .

We will go back because the food is fabulous and she was lovely.
