About Rotary Club Of Eastbourne Am

Eastbourne Rotary AM is dedicated to Making a Difference in our Community.
Whether we are organising the famous Beachy Head Lighthouse Walk, raising money for charities such as Shelterbox or the RNLI, or Breakaway for disabled children we do it well.

We held our annual President’s Night last month to celebrate Mike Cross’ year as President but, more importantly, to celebrate a very successful year for our Club in terms of the service we have been able to provide to our local community & beyond. Rotary is about making a positive difference to peoples’ lives at the same time as making new friends & having fun. We are a club of mixed ages, professions (including retired) & genders - if you would like to find out more & possibly join us, do please message us via Facebook or email to info@eastbourneam.org

Still time to see the last of the bluebells - we are at the Arlington Bluebell Walk and Farm Trail on Friday. Be good to see you there

Last Saturday we organised the 6th annual Lighthouse Challenge which attracted a record number of walkers, some 2,000! This did result in some queues, for which we apologise, but it was a delight to see so many people (& dogs) enjoying themselves, with most successfully reaching the Lighthouse. We would like to put on record our thanks to the RNLI, Coast Guard, St John Ambulance & RAYNET for the brilliant support. Most of all we want to thank the walkers who have helped us r...aise funds for local charities & also towards the upkeep of our iconic Lighthouse. In Rotary we like to have a lot of fun whilst helping others. We are always looking for new members so please message us if you would like to find out more. Meantime we know a lot of photos have already been uploaded but we could not resist adding one more; this fantastic shot by Luca Rampling (age 11) - well done Luca & we hope you enjoyed the day.
