Rotary Club Of Ripon Rowels

Ripon Rowels improve the lives of people in the local communities. The object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service above self.

Our Club was formed in 1990 to give service to the local and international community by the use of each member's vocational skills. Our members strive to give assistance to local groups either by way of raising funds or 'hands on' projects or assistance such as marshalling duties.
Our members encourage the development of local youngsters by sponsoring them on various Rotary events. Our help to the local community is generally born from the ideas of individual members, Your ideas could make a difference.

The motto of Rotary is "Service above Self".

Rotary Club of Ripon Rowels meet each Tuesday evening in the Golden Lion, Ripon for 8pm.
Although the format of Club meetings varies from Club to Club a typical evening at our Club would be a social meal at 8pm with a comfort break at 9pm and then a local speaker of interest with the evening finishing at 10pm.

The first Tuesday of each month is a club business meeting.

We have many other social events throughout the year such as dinner dances and weekends away.

Members are free and encouraged to visit other Rotary Clubs at anytime.
