They just don't stop! 😍 Lots of interest in our Race Extension builds as of late, and the Pettit Racing Cat-Back exhausts are incredibly popular too, and it's easy to see/hear why. 😋 We can't wait to get them all on our Dyno for tuning and further developments, post run-in. Things are getting pretty exciting!

Even more braps incoming!
Another Race Extension Full-Bridge build, lightened and balanced, making all the right noises! Coupled with a Racing Beat header, Pettit Racing Dual Resonated Decat and Cat-Back, it's a mesmerising sound... 🤤
A run-in and tune to follow in the not too distant future! 😁

******PROVISIONALLY SOLD****** For Sale: £1100 RX-8 231 S1 Full Bridge Port Engine with Race Extension.
This engine is the first prototype Renesis Race Extension by Josh. The exhaust ports were enlarged beyond what any porting template could offer, allowing for better evacuation of exhaust gases, coupled with a large Bridge Port.
... It has been used in Josh's own RX-8 for just over 8000 miles, and has been tested on the road and our Dyno extensively. It revs happily up to 10,000rpm. An ideal engine if you're looking for braps, or even just a potent replacement engine that starts hot and cold. This engine has made 195whp consistently throughout it's life. It has been premixed religiously.
Due to the nature of this particular build, it cannot be warranted, but as a side note, it had been built with continuous hard driving in mind for those who may want to use it competitively.
The only items not included in the sale are:
- Ignition Coils and Leads - Exhaust Manifold - Flywheel
As it is Josh's engine, the sale is private. Cash must be brought upon sale. Engine can be fitted at an additional cost of £300, same day on a weekend at the Rotary Revs workshop. For those wanting to fit the engine themselves, the ECU with need to be flashed with a base-map at Rotary Revs for it to start and idle.
Reason for sale: Another prototype engine is being prepared for Josh's car, which will replace this one. He has no need for two, and would rather this one be put to use. 😁

FD GST450 installation. The car was showing signs of a failing fuel pump in the last tuning session, so we aborted and replaced the pump before we experienced any bigger issues

To sum it up, the definite go to place for anything rotary in the UK.

Two years I've been dealing with this amazing team, and I have absolutely nothing negative to say about them.

Their knowledge has no limits, and their customer service is absolutely spot on.

The prices are some of best in the business, and every pence you pay is worth its weight in gold.

Don't bother looking anywhere else, this is THE place you need.

Congratulations Ben, Denton, Josh and Gene. You guys absolutely rock.

This was my second visit ( from Ireland ) so I knew what to expect but yet again Ben and his guys delivered first class service. The work that was done on both mine and my friends car ( also from Ireland ) was fantastic, the guys are great, very friendly and always willing to chat,do yourself and your rotary a favour and pay Rotary Revs a visit, you'll never go anywhere else

This is a great place to take your Mazda. These guys know all the stuff when it comes to rotary engines.

User

Thank you sooo much to all the guys at rotary revs for my engine rebuild the customer service was excellent and nothing was to much trouble my car feels so amazing to drive a completely new car one very very happy customer from the isle of wight

User

My first visit and I was very impressed both in knowledge and customer service wich is the best I have had. Compression test, service and whole clutch system as well as other issues sorted. Ben and the team go above and beyond than a average repair garage. Extremely fast and professional and very reasonable on costs. Will be worth the 100 mile round trip for all future work and nothing like pice of mind knowing that the advice and recommendations are 100% honest. (rare thing to find these days)

User

My 2nd visit to these guys today, greeted by a friendly and professional team from the very moment you walk in. Incredibly knowledgeable about our beloved rotary engine cars and could not recommend enough to anyone seeking the best customer service, value, environment and knowledge there is. A genuine pleasure to take your car here.

I have closer workshop options for my RX8 but something just felt right about making the extra 30 miles (153 in total)to go to RRs.

I'm always a little concious being a girl visiting places like this alone as I worry I will be treated like a ditzy blonde when im quite up on my JDM knowledge but Denton greeted me in a polite and friendly way and my car was immediately attended to. He explained what he would do and I was invited to relax in the comfortable lounge.

What I was so pleased about was the friendly advice ( which can so often be patronising as a blonde woman) which Denton gave and although I was there only for a compression test, he spotted a number of things I needed to attend to and infact a couple of which he did for me. The test results and advisories were patiently explained to me. I have to say that both he and his colleagues, (one who came through the lounge and attentively asked me if I had the wifi code) were all so polite it is a rare experience generally and it really was a pleasant way to spend some time enthusing with them about their work and passion for their clients cars. VERY highly recommended and if I find I can afford to keep this car, I will be back soon.

User

Great bunch of guys here who apart from being very knowledgeable on all things rotary are also simply nice people and nothing is too much trouble to fix or advise about.

User

Excellent first time visit today. Went for a health check and came back with new coils and a racing beat exhaust! Car felt loads better on the way home though! Much smoother and seemed to pull stronger. Plus a gorgeous noise thanks to the new addition! Thanks guys
