After suffering an issue on my commute home, i pulled into ROTEC CYCLES and they helped me out straight away. They didn't even charge the repair. I will be definitely be going back to ROTEC for all future bike related service.

Have been here loads of times. Not cheap but certainly not expensive, and I'd say good value. I've received dependable honest advice every time I've been. Service has been fantastic and timely. Owner is a top guy who definitely knows his bikes. Always busy so must be doing something right!

These guys are so helpful and friendly. I'm pretty sure Evans would have laughed me out of the door with my crappy old bike and total lack of knowledge, but Simon at Rotec was really kind and fixed my bike quickly in time for my first triathlon. Can't recommended them enough for excellent service at a very reasonable price!!

Excellent work, service and value. I went to Halfords with my folding electric bike which needed a fair bit of work. After 15 minutes of head shaking & pained expressions I was told to come back and show the mechanic who would only be in while I was at work. I emailed Simon at Rotec and he said he thought it would be OK and to bring it in. He's very knowledgeable and friendly and the bike was made good as new, on time and under the quoted amount. Support this first rate, independent, local business and have an excellent customer experience - it's pure win-win.

I was visiting family in the UK and made the last minute decision to pick up some new hubs for a wheel build. I looked at all the big bike shops, contacted quite a few, but only Rotec knew exactly what I was talking about and were able to order in the exact parts I needed in a very tight timeframe. I visited the shop to pick up my order and it's quite obviously a shop for cyclists by cyclists. Only thing I want to complain about is that their payment system didn't take any of my (perfectly good) Bali bank cards, which meant my dad had to pay. Thanks very much for that guys, still haven't heard the end of it! All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rotec, just don't bank in Indonesia, or bring cash...

I have been a bike commuter for the past 9 years, doing an average of 8 miles a day....having used and been let down by the bigger places like: Halfords, Evans I was pleasantly surprised to find Rotec! Easy going, knowledgeable and always willing to help. My only and biggest gripe that ultimately led to this review and me not using Rotec anymore is that, in my case, it always took a long time for the bike to be fixed, there was never no contact unless I called and the whole shop seems to operate without any form of booking in or order system! There is no clear timelines or estimates offered and they seemed quite blasé about people's time...maybe I'm being harsh but that's the feeling I got. Maybe their just victims of their own success and became too big to cope. Sadly I can't be asked with constantly chasing my bike repairs and therefore won't be returning.

Ordered Five 20" tubes for my Recumbent Trike and I'm still awaiting them nearly 14 days later.They sent out first batch 18" I had to return.Still waiting for the correct one guy's.
