We are currently looking for 2 more volunteers to help with marshalling Glow with the Flow on Friday.

We recently had First+ Medical Solutions into the hospice to train 8 members of our staff. Those staff members are now Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work trained.
Thank you First+ Medical Solutions for a really informative and fun training day.
A huge thank you to the Hike4Mike team for raising an amazing total of £3085 from completing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge.
Their aim is to raise £25,000 in 5 years in memory of their friend Michael Graves. Next up is a body wax!

Elixi'Air is always supporting the hospice and it's no different at Glow with the Flow, with the proceeds from your glowing face paints going towards the hospice. Make sure you bring your pennies with you.

There will be refreshments including home-made cakes and many plants for sale.

A big part of our Glow with the Flow walk is to have fun but it is also a time to remember the loved ones we have lost which is why we have our Glow Memory Wall at the hospice.
The railings outside of the Hospice will be covered in twinkly lights alongside your messages of remembrance.

Dawn took on the incredible challenge of the Yorkshire 3 Peaks for the hospice and through her fundraising efforts she applied for the Community Award Scheme from Good Neighbours News and was successful.
A huge thank you to Dawn and Good Neighbours News for the £200 donation!
Dawn was part of the Challinor Team fundraising for Dave, sadly Dave passed away from an oligodendroglioma brain tumour in 2018.
... Amanda Challinor, Dave's wife says “Dawn and Vin and their family are hardwired with ours, from a friendship tied over 35 years ago. I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else by my side, as a very experienced senior nurse, she held my hand literally, through my darkest nights throughout Dave’s illness.
She was a real trooper in digging deep for Dave over those mountain tops, a real example of what Yorkshire Grit and determination can get you through”

Members of Rotherham United Football Club's first team players and staff are set to take part in a corker of a fundraiser as they join our friends at Wickersley Old Village Cricket Club for a charity game in support of the Rotherham Hospice and Sunbeams.
The entire Rotherham United squad, including any new summer additions, will be in attendance on Friday 5th July from 4:30pm - 8:30pm.
