We had our wedding here on the 16th June and it went perfectly. The food is still being talked about as the roast beef is beautiful! All of the staff were very friendly and helpful and made our day go smoothly. George and myself would like to say thank you for making our wedding day so special xx

We got married here on the 8th of July 2017, and it's safe to say everyone had an absolutely, fantastic time! The service, quality of food and all of the very helpful staff were amazing too, nothing was a bother to anyone. They helped with everything and kept the whole day and night running smoothly.

The grounds/gardens are gorgeous and very safe for little ones running around. And with the sun shinning on our day the welcome drinks and canapés we're perfect in the garden. It honestly felt like we were abroad! My only wish is that we could do the whole day over again, and I wouldn't change a thing!

Thank you again to Siobhan for guiding us threw it from start to finish, and of course to Graham and the rest of the fantastic team! Love Mr & Mrs Glendinning xx

My husband and I came here for one night on our way home from our tour of Scotland on our honeymoon and we have to say we stayed in some pretty outstanding places along the way but this out shone them all by far, just wished we’d booked for more than one night!! The food was beautiful and your staff are absolutely fantastic, when they found out it was part of our honeymoon they up graded us and put a lovely treat in our room, we really couldn’t have asked for anything more. Lovely hotel in beautiful grounds, but what makes it so special is the staff. I injured my ankle whilst staying here on a hiking trip. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make the remainder of my stay as comfortable as possible.

Will definitely stay here again.

Just back from a weekend to celebrate my 40th birthday arranged by my Husband and little girl. We had a fantastic stay, beautiful hotel kept to the highest standard. Amazing food, particularly the afternoon tea. However, the real jewel in your crown is your team of staff. Always smiling, helpful and doing everything they can to make your stay tip top. A special thanks goes to Yvonne, you made a stay perfect ! We shall return I am sure.

I held a large charity event here last night (21.06.17) and I was amazed. The staff were all lovely and couldn't have done any more. The venue itself is lovely, serene and spacious. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Roundthorn to anyone thinking of hosting an event or even just fancying an afternoon tea! Thank you Roundthorn.

I always love doing wedding photography at the Roundthorn, not only is it a beautiful venue, but the staff are really friendly and helpful. On top of that the wedding breakfast food is amazing.

Couldn't have imagined getting married anywhere else, it is the ultimate wedding venue. Excellent food and service. Lots of perfect little touches. But it has to be said Manie is the best and friendliest host and not only helps plan but is present and helpful every throughout the entire day! Thank you all!

Amazing, beautiful place to stay, very helpful staff catering for ur every need, food is sublime (compliments to the chef). The setting of this stunning house gives panaromic views which take ur breath away. We are definitely going to book a return visit, the room had everything u wld need, even fluffy white dressing gowns in our room, bathroom spotless with new fittings, crisp white bedding, we would highly recommend this amazing place to stay.

Amazing hotel - don't actually want to leave too good a review because don't want everyone to know how good it is as then it will be full and I won't get a room! 😂 Amazing staff make a fantastic hotel a wonderful place to stay - couldn't fault it! Superb!
