Happy Mother’s Day

Remember it’s Mother’s Day this weekend, we are still taking reservations.

We are OPEN as normal today

Went with my girlfriend she likes to rate diners, and restaurants and she rated the service 10 also they kept asking us if we enjoyed our meal all the staff were very hospitable also 10 out of 10 for the meal.

We ate here two days in a row! Took a chance passing by and stopped off starving. Had dinner and breakfast here which both impressed us. Food was hot, fresh and very generous portions. Decor, music and staff were lovely. Accommodated our pram without fuss. Came out with very full tummies and smiles around. Can't wait to go back soon!

It my first time going to this establishment. The pulled pork burger was grand in size and juicy in taste. The 1ft stack of onion rings was tasty; my friends who shared these agreed with this testament. The vanilla milkshake was nice.



My dessert was a chocolate "skyscraper sundae". As a fan of alliteration I appreciated this naming, and the size and contents of it were a beautiful way to end my lovely meal there. I will be happy to return one day. I'd recommend it for a group of friends or family who have been on the road and want a good way to end (or start) their trip.

Having been last year I was a bit apprehensive as we received average service. Popped in yesterday and was Informed there would be a 25 minute wait.



This was fine and actually it felt a lot less than 25 minutes.



Food was hot and absolutely delicious. I did order extra blue cheese in my burger as last time I hardly got any but there was tons (my fault)



So all in all the food with the service and the excellent staff more than made up for my previous visit.



Will be coming again

Have been on numerous occasions for birthdays etc and never had a bad meal. 10 of us there this time and all meals were excellent and filling. Seated immediately and lovely, happy, chatty staff attended to all our needs. Thanks again Route, you never fail us.

Great breakfast. Popped in on route to our next destination. It was very busy but the food was good quality and we didn’t have too long to wait. Would definitely come again should we pass by when visiting Cornwall again.

Fantastic meal, gammon was beautiful, and the banana split was lovely. The staff were very polite and welcoming. Can you please open one near Hayle.

Fantastic food and very big portions. Staff were very very good and didn't seem to mind us taking our time as we looked over the menu. I'm the end we played safe and chose burgers and they were really well cooked and full of flavour! Will definitely be returning when we are back in Looe again 🖒

Called in off spec was sat down and served drinks straight away was a little busy so had a little to wait for food when it came looked great, chips for both was a little cold but I only mentioned it and fresh chip were sent all hot. Nice atmosphere and staff a lot better than last visit but they were not all teenagers this time, nothing wrong with teenagers just maybe not quite as conscientious

Brilliant. Service was immense! Food was delicious, Steak was over cooked, but said nothing as the experience was amazing. Had a serious food baby going on, and one of the waitresses tried to help my pain with the suggestion of warm water with lemon to ease my pain, I decided to be a man and order a doom bar instead. I was wrong, said waitress was right. Thank you and sorry, said waitress. Will be returning, one of the best restaurant experiences ever!

Been coming here for years, we absolutely love it <3 Can be a wait sometimes because it is so popular but we expect it and are happy to wait because it's soooo worth it :) x

Nice place great menu fast friendly service and tasty food at a decent price. The self ground local beef is lovely.

£17 for the second worse steak I've ever had in my 38 years on this planet. Over cooked and over priced and was like a cheap supermarket steak. Really disappointing

Style over substance - food is bland and not particularly nice but you get a lot of it....would rather have smaller portions but better quality

was my favourite place to eat, but today (20/4/18) was very poor, chicken breast was like rubber, bacon was sloppy, sauce was like water and the chips were uncooked, won't be visiting again !! £35 down the drain

Went in yesterday for breakfast what a mistake .First error order was incorrect ,2nd pancakes were so tough they could of been used a frisbes ,3rd we ordered more coffee one cup was so weak it was not drinkable ,the young supervisor was very inexperienced and when asked to speak to the manager we were informed she was not available ,and than we phoned again to complain and it seems she was on duty all of the time we were there .we received a free cup of for all the of the mistakes made by staff who seemed not to be that bothered about customer service .No more visit from us ,£40 what a waste .

We have been a few times. Staff are miserable. Food is ok. We went a few weeks back. Me my husband and two daughters, aged 3 and 4. We ordered and the food was sent out wrong. I had to wait an extra 20 minutes for my food to be sorted out. By sorted out.. I asked for no mayo and they just scraped it off. By the time it was sent back out.. it was stone cold.



We ordered cheesy nachos for my girls.. as they had already eaten a big lunch and weren't very hungry. We asked for just cheese. They must have put jalapenos on and then taken them back off again as my daughter's mouth was burning. She was screaming the place down. After asking for milk to cool her mouth down... They just weren't bothered at all. The nachos definitely were spicy. As I couldn't eat them also. We asked for the nachos to be taken away... as they couldn't be eaten.. to then be charged for them!! I was furious. The lady serving us had a strop on when I told her, after she asked if everything was Ok! I paid. She chucked my receipt at me and walked away.



We won't ever return. And think the customer service is absolutely disgusting!! My daughter is ok now. But did have blisters in her mouth due to the heat.

Minimal gluten free offering. Unhelpful staff. Just awful. You Should be able to do more than ham egg and chips for gluten and dairy intolerant folks these days.
