Visited here a few times now. Always get a friendly welcome from Audrey. Food is excellent and reasonably priced. Good place for an all day breakfast. Recommend it.

Really friendly place with great staff and fast service even when it's busy !

Passed many time but never had chance to stop. Managed to have dinner and a brew today though, fantastic place, friendly staff and great for watching the other bikes fly past. The woman came out and took a photo of me on my bike as I was just about to leave and made me jump something to laugh about on the way home.

Never a bad Visit, Great Passionate Staff, mega food and plenty of banter in a relaxed cosy cafe. Thank you for always making us Welcome x

User

Lovely place to stop and have a snack or just a coffee and cake, which, by the way, is always delicious. Great staff, very friendly and helpful, thanks x

I dropped by on my travels and enjoyed what I had to eat very much. The staff were friendly and to me it seemed like a good old fashioned roadside cafe. Obviously very popular by the large amount of customers.

Great little biker friendly cafe with very nice staff & top grub!

User

Good food, great atmosphere but I have to agree with the owner, wrong side of the pennies.

Get it move to the right side then mate, you’ll enjoy it.

User

Get place to stop and refresh food is lovely just like the service. Go back defo.

User

Friendly, welcoming people. Great place to meet for a ride or rest en route. Genuine interest in what you ride. Reasonable prices and top breakfast. Thanks.

User

Friendly service, great food, excellent scenery, and the A59 is a great bikers road. What more do you want?

User

First visit for me as well for the Egg Run, a warm, friendly welcome and a great value for money breakfast. Definitely on the list for repeat visits.

User

First time at the cafe and definitely not the last , came down from County Durham for the egg run great day bacon bap , bun , tea cake , worth the ride down for 👍🏍

User

Excellent staff, excellent food and a good brew. Nice place to meet fellow bikers.

User

Excellent friendly customer service, top food at sensible prices and it's location makes it a great ride out for me.

What's not to like.

Stopped here after a long run in the lakes on the way back home. Ordered a burger and have to say it was one of the worst things I’ve ever eaten. Total boil in a tin one and £22 for 2 sandwiches 2 teas and 2 slices of cake seem a bit steep to me. Disappointed as the place seems to have a good rep.

User

Stopped off today for a coffee and some food. Dreadful place with indignant and very rude staff especially the lady !!!! Just grab a coffee and passed on the food as this is NOT a welcoming place to stop.

Never got inside. Pulled up with a view of getting some food but the car park was rammed with cars parked against the back wall and the front, and bikes parked next to where the old petrol pumps were. If the bikes weren’t there we would have parked nose in next to the other cars. However, this wasn’t possible due to the amount of people using the car park. Being bikers ourselves and not wanting to run the risk of clipping one while trying to negotiate the small car park we were deciding where the best place to park was to provide maximum space for other people coming to the cafe, when we were greeted by an extremely rude woman saying to park nose in like the other cars. It wasn’t possible to do that with how everyone else was parked, and I can get my car where water can’t get. As we were reversing out she was taking pictures of the bikes and mouthed “stupid people!”. Well the only stupid one is you. It wasn’t possible to get the car how you wanted it to go,and to be fair we hadn’t finished what we were doing anyway! Don’t go there she’s extremely rude and obnoxious.
