Merry Christmas to all our customers. Route 8 has always been about creating a different atmosphere and experience in Barbers. We offer a vareity of services, while making our customers feel welcomed and comfortable.
Our Barbershop, brings a relaxed and urban feel to Barbering so with the edition of a Pool Table, Games Console and Free Unlimited wifi we feel we are able to make the atmosphere enjoyable for all parties. Offering services for both Men and Children, we are confident our service is worth our wait.

Went to route 8 for the first time today and had a stellar time, really lovely shop and really lovely lady who did my hair and beard. Great prices, great place, great people. Will be my regular barber shop from now on �

Went off of a few recommendations and tried a new barbers, and Route 8 is perfect for me. It looks amazing inside, they've done such a good job. All the staff are friendly and you're made to feel welcome and I had Shannon cutting my hair who was both knowledgeable and chatty. Will definitely be back, thanks guys!

The shop looks great the pool table to the sweet jars, the female worker made the kids an milkshale whilst they waited which was a nice touch! Really good atmosphere and the barber sparked up a conversation upon my arrival, unfortunately i didnt catch his name. I called the shop at around 3.15 saying i would be in at about 4/4.15 and sure enough he recognised me and i was in the chair by 4.30. Kept asking if i was happy and do i want anything shorter/made thinner etc. I look forward to my next cut and can see the store doing fantasticly well!

Super friendly staff, good advice on what to do with my hair and amazing cut. Also a free milk shake what more could you ask for. I'll definitely be back :)

Recently I’ve been to several different barbers in Swindon and this has been by far the best, the service is exceptional, always asking before cutting. The atmosphere is miles ahead of other shops in Swindon, the inside looks great and there’s a pool table and music playing whilst you wait. Value for money is excellent as for £10 you get a men’s cut and a milkshake afterwards. As well as all this I left with a cut that’s better then I’ve had before, it’s obvious that they really want you to be happy and aren’t just looking to get you in and out asap. I didn’t find any flaws in my time at Route 8 Barbers and look forward to coming again hopefully experiencing consistent great results. Thank you

I have now found my perfect barbers. The staff are very friendly and always willing to go that extra mile to make the customer feel comfortable and happy. Louis is a great barber and always checks that I’m happy with everything before leaving (which I always am). The staff have become more friends now than just barbers. I recommend this place to everyone!!

I have been looking for a decent hairdresser for a while and i have found it. It was very clean and modern and they paid attention to how i wanted my haircut will be going back and the price is very reasonable as well

Honestly one of the best place you can go for haircut in Swindon, you just can't you wrong with it. All i can say is you get best customer satisfaction here with obviously a great haircut.

I had a skin fade on back and sides with my hair length left untouched on top and could not be happier. Plus the decor of the shop has a great rustic barbers feel - plus a pool table! Highly recommend!

First time at route 8. What can I say.. amazing place! The lady who works there did both my boys hair a fantastic job. She made them feel welcome also after finishing she made them both a milkshake while my girl made a pick n mix. Will be coming back again�

Could not have been happier with my experience. Firstly what a place, stunning inside with pool table the wooden surround gives it a look not seen in barbers so it really stands out, secondly the staff are awesome there I had the pleasure of having mine done by Sylvester,such a friendly person who is actually passionate about his cuts and takes his time with it as well rather than rushing to get the next sale. And lastly you would have thought with the look and the friendliness that it would cost you more but it didn't, it was a reasonable £10 for mine



So thumbs up all round thanks again Sylvester I will be back but next time I will Nick your drink ��

First time at route 8 - the shop looks awesome and great atmosphere! The haircut was probably the best I’ve had for a while, the only thing that let down my experience was the waiting time - only having 1 barber that can do skin fades made my wait for a cut last nearly an hour.. Will definitely be back though � keep up the good work!

I was looking to others reviews and make me doubtful.

Guys first of all you have a nice shop , interesting design .



I came Wednesday for a cut and I was extremely disappointed because the hairdresser was an amateur (maximum 1 week experience ) . He doesn’t know to use the scissors and honestly I am not paying someone to make practice on my had .



I should go to pay a real hairdresser to fix his work.

Bad experience on my money and on my time �



Ps : the combs was with hair from orther customers , unrefined .
