Remembering the 22 souls who were taken too soon in the #Manchester Arena attack one year ago.

We are delighted to have been involved recently in making a small donation and supplying raffle prizes for a family close to our hearts at www.theosnicujourney.com.
As you can see from the article, any donations would be greatly received at https://www.gofundme.com/thoesnicujourney for these two fantastic charities.
All the best to Phil, Lisa, Jack & Baby Theo in their fundraising efforts from everyone at Rowe Hankins.
Our Intelligent Wheel Flange Lubrication (iWFL) system, is an on-board intelligent dispensing system, designed to improve rail safety whilst extending wheel wear - saving time, money and lives. http://bit.ly/RH_iWFL

Tolerant of the shock and vibration that's so common on rolling stock, our circuit breakers are unaffected by high inrush currents and will only trip at their rated capacity.
They can be specified with differing time delay curves to compensate for electrical anomalies. There are many options available to permit customisation to the application including integrated auxiliary switches, alarms, remote off indicators and illuminated rockers.

Designed for harsh environments - industrial and traction - the Rowe Hankins RCBO uses industry proven circuit breakers with an integrated current sensor.

Our workshop has extensive facilities including: a wash plant and sand blasters for cleaning, specialised test equipment that allows the measurement of contact bounce timings, precision low ohm meters for the measurement of contact resistance, insulation test equipment and contact force measurement equipment.
Rowe Hankins Ltd strives to ensure rapid turnaround and minimal inconvenience, downtime and potential penalties that form part of a proactive programme of support for th...e life cycle of electro-mechanical components.
With an ISO 9001 quality certified environment Rowe Hankins Ltd has extensive test facilities, with capability for DC testing to 5,000A and 5,000V and switch and bounce testing.
We also work with products from many other manufacturers due to the increasing demand for economics management of on-train, rather than replace them with new and expensive parts.

In today's rail infrastructure, speed sensor failures are frequent and are mainly due to the extremely harsh operating conditions encountered in rail vehicles. However, there are high performance safety critical speed and direction sensors that are designed for heavy-duty applications such as this.
Designed for high reliability and to operate in harsh rail environments, Rowe Hankins' safety critical multi-channel sensors are robust in design and have a long life expectancy, resulting in a cost effective solution for speed and direction measurement.

The Non Intrusive Current Monitor (NIC) is used in control monitoring systems, allowing rail engineers to "fix before failure".
Designed for trackside application to assist Network Rail’s preventative maintenance programme, the split-core NIC has many benefits, including its retro-fit installation. This allows the unit to be clamped around circuits without interference to the circuit or signalling systems and removes the need for costly downtime when a rail control monitoring... system (RCM) is installed.
This means that the rail network can continue to run safely while maintenance work is carried out.

The Rowe Hankins earth leakage unit is a residual current circuit breaker, which is powered from the vehicle’s battery and measures the sum of the current in primary conductors passing through its aperture.
In DC earth leakage detection applications, the current in all supply conductors, both positive and negative, are measured.
During standard operation when there is no earth fault present in the system, the current in the “positive” and “negative” conductors cancel and the ...dectector alarm relay is energised.
