What a stunning place! Got a special deal for dinner, bed and breakfast in a junior suite. We had to change the date at late notice and the hotel could not have been more helpful. We were actually given a master suite when we checked in (Henrietta Maria) which was absolutely beautiful. The meal in the restaurant was first class, as was the breakfast the following morning. This hotel is a hidden gem. We will definitely be returning if I can persuade my boyfriend! Thanks so much to all the staff for the warm welcome and excellent service.

What a Fantastic place to take a break or host a wedding! A first class hotel surrounded by beautiful grounds. The food from the restaurant is out of this world and the Health Spa is the perfect place to wind down and have a treatment (I can highly recommend the full body massage). All of the staff at the hotel and spa are Extremely professional, friendly and can’t do enough to help you.

The room was excellent , food devine, spa and treatment was amazing but the highlight for us was how utterly fantastic the staff were. WOW! Where do I start.. We got married at Rowton Hall 2 weeks ago, the place is truly stunning!!, the feeling and welcome you get when you arrive at Rowton Hall is amazing and like no other!, the staff really do go that extra mile to ensure everything you need is met to the highest standard!. Once we had been to the wedding fayre and seen how elegant and grand the ball room looked there was no doubt this was the place for us!.

We booked the wedding 2 years in advance and from start to finish Rhian our wedding coordinator was excellent and so helpful!, nothing was too much trouble to ask from Rhian and she made us both feel so relaxed in each of our meetings/emails through out the whole time!.

Me and my bridesmaids stayed in the bridal suite the night before the wedding and would like to say how gorgeous the apartment is and was a great way to start the wedding celebrations!, the room was spacious and luxurious and was perfect for when we were getting our hair and make up done.

The morning of the wedding I woke up to find that everything including the sweet table and present table had already been set up by Keith our toast master for the day!. This took the stress away from me and my bridesmaids having to do this before getting ready and enabled me to relax the whole morning!.

Throughout the whole day I have to say me and my husband felt Keith was 1st class! And so helpful!, he made us feel relaxed and always kept us informed of what would happen next and how it would unfold, nothing was too much trouble for Keith and the effort he put in to the whole day to ensure everything ran smoothly was amazing!.

The food was perfect and everyone commented on how nice it was!,

Everyone of our guests felt welcomed by all of the staff and the amount of comments we’ve had noting how amazing the whole day and venue was is overwhelming.

Whether it be a spa day, a nights get away or especially your wedding day I would 100% recommend Rowton Hall.

I would again just like to make a special mention and Thank You to both Rhian and Keith, they are a credit to Rowton Hall and with all of Rhian’s hard work before hand and Keith’s hard work on the day they both contributed on making it the best day of our lives and more than we could of ever imagined so Thank You!.

Myself, mum and dad visited on the 11th March to celebrate mother's day. We all had an exceptional time. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and the efficiency was second to none. We are looking to make our mother's day celebration at Rowton Hall a tradition! My mum and I are looking to book a spa treatment at Rowton Hall aswel in the near future. Would definitely recommend.

My friend and I have just enjoyed a lovely spa day at Rowton. From the moment we arrived the staff were lovely and welcoming. Especially the lady on reception at the spa when we arrived. I had the back, neck and shoulder massage which was perfect and then we relaxed in the jacuzzi and pool area. Nice relaxing day for two very tired worn out mummies! Thank you. Xx

I got married here, my husband and I come here for anniversaries, excellent restaurant staff, we brought our little girl here for a stay and she loves the ‘wedding house’ too and now I come for massages because the girls take great care and consideration with me and my health and make me feel comfortable...

A lovely place. The service was great and the staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Rowton Hall was preparing for a wedding as we left: dozens of sparkling glasses on pristine white tablecloths: white roses garlanded with white ribbons were fixed to the stair banister - it looked wonderful and it was clear just how hard everyone was working.

We had a suite - a lovely large living room with double doors leading to our bedroom and en-suite and a king size four poster bed.

Really can't fault it, and the food was good, too.

Very comfortable, fairly clean, staff lovely and helpful, food delicious, facilities good, 2nd rate parking - locals park immediately in front of hotel �.

The hotel and staff were excellent.

However I think there may of been issues with the mainatance of the spa facilities.

Pool was cold and so was the sauna.

The steam room was so hot I could only stay in there for a couple of minutes.

The shower was like cracking a safe as the temperature was hot then cold.

I'm sure this will be sorted soon as everything else was spot on.

I'll be visiting again soon despite the hic up with the pool facilities. We all have a bad day from time to time

Lovely setting staff very friendly, good facilities at the Spa and rooms,the hot stones massage was lovely! Our meal Saturday night was very tasty. Only fault was the service at breakfast was very disorganised we had to ask four times for our toast and the fruit juice and milk jugs were empty for quite sometime - that was the only fault and would definitely stay there again!

Couple of points though: the pool and poolside furniture needs updating/refurbishing and there needs to be a bin to dump towels and robes! Could also do with extra towels available! 1 - asked for a specific room, despite a promise was not given the room

2 - we arrived at 1.30 but room was not ready until 4.10

3 - was given a pink used towel in the spa, it smelt of the oils used when having a massage

4 - no appology given

5 - no one took responsibility for the cock ups

6 - considering how long the room took to get ready it lacked the finishing touches

We bought a deal on groupon for an overnight stay for 2, it came with a spa treatment but only for 1! Had to pay another £25 for the second person, this was the first disappointment. The room was lovely and the food was gorgeous but the spa not so good, we had a massage but where not offered the use of the facilities such as the pool, sauna etc. We had to check out of the hotel before going for our treatment and whilst the staff were nice enough it felt very much like well you have had your treatment so off you go. Can’t fault the hotel or their staff but the spa really let it all down, we booked the stay as part of a birthday weekend for my husband who had never been to a spa before and don’t feel he left with a very good impression, such a shame but not sure if we would return anytime soon

I recently got married here & I'm devastated how the day went.

The staff were excellent up until the day of our wedding. They would immediately answer any emails/queries and appeared organised at all times during our meetings. However, this was not the case on the actual day.

•The wedding planner was nowhere to be seen most of the day. This led to a lot of confusion, everything running late and myself trying to organise the day.

•Our £290 backdrop was not put out as promised for our guests to take selfies.

• The main room where we had our wedding breakfast was too hot. We expressed our concerns to the staff and asked for a fan, but nothing was done and my mother in law had to leave the room.

•All my stuff was moved from where I got ready in the morning to another room. I had no idea where everything was put. They gave me a key card for the new room but it would never work. I had to go to reception several times throughout the day to get a new key. I was told it was due to my phone (I didn't have a phone on me). This was incredibly frustrating and was unable to do my hair/makeup before my first dance due to this.

All the issues with Rowton Hall have been left unresolved as they don't return emails.

We had a suite - a lovely large living room with double doors leading to our bedroom and en-suite and a king size four poster bed.

Really can't fault it, and the food was good, too.

Very comfortable, fairly clean, staff lovely and helpful, food delicious, facilities good, 2nd rate parking - locals park immediately in front of hotel �.

The hotel and staff were excellent.

However I think there may of been issues with the mainatance of the spa facilities.

Pool was cold and so was the sauna.

The steam room was so hot I could only stay in there for a couple of minutes.

The shower was like cracking a safe as the temperature was hot then cold.

I'm sure this will be sorted soon as everything else was spot on.

I'll be visiting again soon despite the hic up with the pool facilities. We all have a bad day from time to time

Really enjoyed our stay,it's a beautiful Hotel in beautiful grounds,the staff were warm,welcoming,polite and very attentive...food was excellent and the service was superb!Weve travelled around the world and been fortunate enough to experience many Hotels and can honestly say we were more than happy with this one..thank you again to the staff who looked after us ❤️

Lovely setting staff very friendly, good facilities at the Spa and rooms,the hot stones massage was lovely! Our meal Saturday night was very tasty. Only fault was the service at breakfast was very disorganised we had to ask four times for our toast and the fruit juice and milk jugs were empty for quite sometime - that was the only fault and would definitely stay there again!

I was treated to a spa afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed it! Spa staff were lovely, food was good and the treatments just great! Couple of points though: the pool and poolside furniture needs updating/refurbishing and there needs to be a bin to dump towels and robes! Could also do with extra towels available! I would come again! Thank you!

We have been on many occassions and have always had a lovely time, however this time we where not happy at all, in short

1 - asked for a specific room, despite a promise was not given the room

2 - we arrived at 1.30 but room was not ready until 4.10

3 - was given a pink used towel in the spa, it smelt of the oils used when having a massage

4 - no appology given

5 - no one took responsibility for the cock ups

6 - considering how long the room took to get ready it lacked the finishing touches

We bought a deal on groupon for an overnight stay for 2, it came with a spa treatment but only for 1! Had to pay another £25 for the second person, this was the first disappointment. The room was lovely and the food was gorgeous but the spa not so good, we had a massage but where not offered the use of the facilities such as the pool, sauna etc. We had to check out of the hotel before going for our treatment and whilst the staff were nice enough it felt very much like well you have had your treatment so off you go. Can’t fault the hotel or their staff but the spa really let it all down, we booked the stay as part of a birthday weekend for my husband who had never been to a spa before and don’t feel he left with a very good impression, such a shame but not sure if we would return anytime soon

I recently got married here & I'm devastated how the day went.

The staff were excellent up until the day of our wedding. They would immediately answer any emails/queries and appeared organised at all times during our meetings. However, this was not the case on the actual day.

•The wedding planner was nowhere to be seen most of the day. This led to a lot of confusion, everything running late and myself trying to organise the day.

•Our £290 backdrop was not put out as promised for our guests to take selfies.

• The main room where we had our wedding breakfast was too hot. We expressed our concerns to the staff and asked for a fan, but nothing was done and my mother in law had to leave the room.

•All my stuff was moved from where I got ready in the morning to another room. I had no idea where everything was put. They gave me a key card for the new room but it would never work. I had to go to reception several times throughout the day to get a new key. I was told it was due to my phone (I didn't have a phone on me). This was incredibly frustrating and was unable to do my hair/makeup before my first dance due to this.

All the issues with Rowton Hall have been left unresolved as they don't return emails.
