About Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve (Training)

For Officers of the Air Cadet Organisation. The ACO requires it's staff to operate in a professional and diligent manner on a voluntary basis whilst adhering the to code of conduct of regular service men and women. The skills and experiences staff aquire directly affect the working environment and vice versa with many of the skills being transferable. It's commissioned staff are skilled in delivering training and development opportunities to young men and women whilst managing those around them both up and down the line. It is arguable that these men and women are essentially 'professional volunteers' whose skills developed over years of quietly working with the ACO and outside the working environment often have missed skills employers need. Skills that should not be over looked on a CV nor dismissed as a 'hobby'.
