Birmingham School of Acting is a specialist institution that offers full-time higher education courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level, as well as part-time and summer school courses for adults, young people and children.
The Guardian University Guide for 2014 places Birmingham School of Acting 8th in the UK within the classification of drama and dance, a leap of 19 places on 2013's position of 27th.
Our BA (Hons) Acting course is accredited by Drama UK, the organisation that has evolved from the National Council for Drama Training (NCDT) and the Conference of Drama Schools (CDS).
We are located in the impressive, modern Millennium Point building near the centre of Birmingham. We also perform at professional theatres throughout Birmingham and the West Midlands.

Here's MA graduate Stuart Ash at the BAFTA award ceremony just after the animation he was the lead voice on won Best British Short Animation! Huge congratulations to Jonathan Hodgson and Richard Van Den Boom who created the film.πππ
Each year Shakespeare Birthplace Trust has open auditions for their βActors Aloud' in-house company.
During a year-long contract, actors perform in the Shakespeare Gardens with training on speeches from practitioners working within the RSC and local companies.
Only 2 positions were available this year and out of hundreds who applied and auditioned, Kate Gee-Finch and Will Keetch (both RBC graduates and represented by Bazan Talent Agency) got the jobs! ππ
