I'm taking back my previous good review!! When we arrived home from our stay I realised we had left some items in the bathroom of our room. I emailed the hotel to ask if they could get the things back to me. It took 2 days to get a reply, in which I was told that there was nothing left in the room. When chasing it up tonight I was told to "hold my horses". Obviously I was upset by the tone in which I was spoken to, but more so that someone has obviously taken or thrown away my £100 toothbrush. The hotel are refusing to compensate for the loss, claiming that loss of personal belongings is my own fault! My point is that i emailed on the same day that we checked out to say i'd left property, and I feel that had they not delayed in reading/responding to my email then I may have got my belongings back. I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel.
Lovely staff and bent over backwards to please us
We booked at short notice as another venue had let us down and it turned out to be a fantastic place to stay, right on the harbourside with loads of parking within a short distance. The staff very helpful and polite. The room was modern and clean as was the bathroom with power shower and ive never seen so much coffee, tea, sugar and milk by the kettle with 3 cups and saucers, usually in other hotels you get 2 cups and saucers and enough tea or coffee for 1 or 2 cups so well done. Sometimes it is the little things that make the difference. We will be booking to come back again very soon 😁😁

Sticky tables. Dirty chairs. Drink ordered was wrong when it arrived. Music was very loud. Didn't stay long!
Dissapointed, my daughter took me there for a late mothers day Carvery lunch, only they dont do them all year round and it was booked through Goupon, what they offered as a alternative was not good at all and my daughter was disappointed too!, if she had not pre paid with Groupon we would off walked out. Cleanliness ...was one of the dirtiest places i have ever had the misfortune to eat in ! Place needs a good clean
Not the cleanest hotel. Our room was exceptionally small, about 8ft wide, they put in an extra single bed, which made it wall to wall bed. Shower not clean. New staff behind bar who knew very little about the workings of the bar, not his fault as he should have been shown.
Food in bar very basic, steak pie been microwaved to death, crust too hard to bite, burger was just that, burger in a bun no garnish or trimmings. Condiments were dirty and containers not clean.
No TV remote and TV stupidly high. Went downstairs to ask for remote, owner said it had been stolen, seemed like it was too much trouble to break him away from his game of pool. So wife had to stand on bottom of bed to change channels.
Breakfast supposedly 08.00 until 09.30 when we enquired, didn't start setting tables until 08.15, breakfast arrived at 08.50 when we needed to be away by 08.45 although the breakfast was very good.
Greatly overpriced for condition of hotel, not our greatest stay in a hotel.
Nice hotel real bar not plastic lift would be nice though
