Hopefully this will now be the end of this unfortunate situation we have found ourselves in. If anyone is not aware, one of our members of staff regrettably but lawfully, dumped some rubble in our front field (not on the course and on our own land). A local person published a picture of this and stated fairly categorically and totally incorrectly that this was blocking a badger sett. Allegations and incitement has ensued and persons so far unknown have caused considerable cri...minal damage to the club and course as a result of believing what they read on Facebook. We even had a Facebook Badger Group encouraging its members to write harmful reviews on our Facebook page, most of these have now been removed by their authors although some still have not. Below are pictures of the removed rubble where you can hopefully see there are no badger setts or runs. We have already invited anyone who has an interest to come and see this for themselves, although please by prearranged appointment to avoid disturbing a sett which is accessed from this same field some distance away.
