Absolutely an amazing place, we were staying at wild rose park and was told to visist this place! Wow I'm so glad we did! So dog friendly with their own bar area and own menu, which we found an absolutely fantastic idea! The owner and staff are brilliant, so friendly, warm and welcoming, food was just as amazing as everything else! We will without a doubt be paying another visit before we leave for home and will be visiting quite often in the future too! Fabulous fabulous and just bloody fabulous, don't ever go to Appleby without paying a visit!!
This was a lovely pub which my boyfriend and myself popped into during a walk around Appleby. Didn't have food but the menu looked delicious. Staff warm and friendly. Would definitely visit again .
This is a fabulous little hotel/guesthouse. Our breakfast was included which I assume was locally sourced quality produce and was cooked and served very well indeed. The rooms make the most of the space without becoming cramped and cluttered. Very clean and tidy with good facilities. Good atmosphere and friendly helpful staff. Cannot fault this place and I would highly reccomend.
Stopped for a bite on our way home from Inverness. Food was excellent and staff were really nice. Very generous portions. Would recommend to All!
Rooms are generally very good. Rooms 7 & 8 are up in the rafters and quite quirky but low for a tall person. Food is very good in the pub. Many different evenings such as fish and chips, burger, steak and Italian. Nice friendly staff.
Dropped in to visit friends who were staying,had coffees and beers whilst there. Lovely rooms and excellent service. Would recommend.
Ok a little pricy for my liking
Used to go here as a child but the bar side standard has really dropped. Unfortunately it was football night so in the small space there were 4 large screens. Beers and ciders on tap were mediocre and there must be a bar cat as allergies were set off soon after arrived.
Surprise Sunday lunch for Dad's 60th. Very well priced, great service and hospitality.
