My uncle was at Oldham Royal for several weeks. He received outstanding care. I'm particularly thankful to the amazing staff on T7 and G1 who ensured he received the care and attention that he needed. Thank YOU!

Went to a+e with my 86 year old mother who was in distress with an on going problem. She was treated with the utmost respect and dealt with quickly and efficiently in approx 30 mins. Thank you to all staff involved.

Saturday night came in at 11:30PM - spent 5.5 hours till 5 AM waiting for a SINGLE DOCTOR to look at my wife with severe painful abdomen cramps and other dangerous symptoms. Had 3 people at 5 AM still waiting in line to be seen before us, for 6+ hours as their parking was running out which is another joke, so couldn't cope with it and just went home after signing a discharge form and talking to the doc for 5 mins WHICH WAS ENOUGH, as all the symptoms went away after 3 hours of agonizing wait and two blood pressure measurements. Lucky us ! A guy next to us had a broken wrist and just went home after 2.5 hours of sitting in the waiting room - he only had some tissue wrapped around his hand by a nurse to keep it steady and simply couldn't be arsed anymore. Thanks conservatards for defunding NHS ! Nurses: "You've been waiting for a long time - may wait a bit longer (at 3 AM), the doctor will see you soon", every time you talk to them. "I dont know how long it will take, we have one doctor looking after 50 patients and some with emergencies". DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE

Cannot fault the care we received when having my baby. From the tour of the hospital/maternity unit before the birth to post care we were all looked after. The staff were all amazing, sincere and seemed to genuinely care about me, my husband and our new baby. We were introduced to every new staff member and their role and only have positive things to say about our experience.

Big hostpital. Loads of parking space. Nurses are lovely.

I have not heard one good story to come out of this hospital. Deaths, Poor Care, Bad Facilities - the cafe is overpriced and served disgusting food.

My wife delivered our baby girl on 20th June 2017 at Birth Centre , right from start to finish all staffs been very kind and supportive. We really loved the way how we were guided. Lots of Love and best wishes to entire Royal Oldham Hospital team.

Went into A+E on 22 December around 1pm with badly sprained ankle. Excellent practice nurse John very knowledgeable. X-rays done, results explained, treatment done and drugs given. Out at 2pm. Can't get much better than that. Could teach some other trusts! Thanks Oldham A+E

I would have given more stars but I have unfortunately had a few bad experiences due to staff bad manners and a lack of genuine care, but on the whole at other times the staff have been great.
I may be wrong but why is the Royal Oldham Hospital phone number not in the BT telephone directory?

Been sat in this waiting room urology department since 10.40am. Appointment at 10.50am it is now 12.45 . waiting room full. Carpark ticket running out shortly . no signs of anything happening . its a good job people dont turn up for appointments. Will hospital pay for parking fine £35/£70 😞
