Because Luna can understandably get really excited when she is out for walks with lots of fun things going on around her that she will be keen to explore, her trainer Romeo is teaching her loose lead walking and also stay and recall.

User

In this video, you can see Bella learning to go to her bed and her trainer Romeo helping her in that way. For young and energic dogs like Bella it is so important to teach them the behaviour that we do want. We are rewarding her calm behaviour and making her bed a place where all the good stuff happens. #ShapingInToACrate

With lead on or off, Nahla is practising well Stay and heel work. And here is a short preview of what she can do with his trainer Romeo.

User

Stay, Recall and lose lead walking seem not to be a problem for Bella anymore. Few days of training can mean a lot! Specially for Bella, a very smart girl, who created a bond with her trainer Romeo and they are working so good togheter.

User

Gordon just started training and already is responding pretty well when his trainer Romeo is using the whistle. He has a lot of potential and for sure his training will go more than well. Good job, Gordon!

*IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR THOSE WHO HAVE COMPLETED RESIDENTIAL TRAINING*
Hi Everyone, Just to let you know that our follow up sessions will be pausing over the holidays this December. Our last session will be Sunday 16th and we will resume again on Sunday 6th January. Happy Holidays!

User

Remember to check out our instagram @royvonesher for more photos of our lovely guests!

Meet Bella, from our Complete Training programme. She is 5 months old and is ready for training with Romeo.

User

Romeo is working with Nahla at basic commands like Stay, Recall and heel work. And because Nahla is such a smart girl, she is learning fast and is happy to show everyone what she knows. Well done, girl!

User

Honey woke up early morning today, like a good student, for her trainig session. When she came at us, she had recall issues but Romeo, her trainer, helped her to improve her Recall. Also worked on Sit and Stay. In Honey's last days of training, you can see her proggresses, the reason Romeo was pleased to have her as a student.

WeŌĆÖve now sent our 18 month old GSD Brody to Royvon 3 times for boarding whenever we go away. We also book him in for some training while heŌĆÖs there. He absolutely loves his time there & we enjoy keeping an eye on his group play pictures on their Facebook. He always comes back in great shape, very happy and well behaved.

User

We sent our kodi-bear for a 3 week boarding and training package while we got married and went on honeymoon. We saw it as a great opportunity to round her out and have a professional work on the things that i was struggling with.... mainly her jumping up when she meets new people. I also asked for abit of work on her recall and her interactions with other dogs. I will admit.... i expected some improvement but was shocked by the progress when we saw her.... the 1st time she saw us after 3 weeks i was expecting a crazy dog.... and while she was massively excited she was controlling herself really well with Nake on the lead. She also interacted well with new people on the handover, which was great help as well telling us what we need to do to continue her progress.... i am massively impressed with the work done in just 3 weeks. Top job Nake. Thank you.

User

We left our 4 Month Old Doberman Duke for 2 weeks and was looked after by Anna, who went above what was expected. She looked after him like he was her own dog and taught him not to be scared of things while out walking. She catered for his needs and advised us on how to carry on with the training. she also kept us updated by sending us videos of his progress. Thank you Anna and Royvon, see you again soon.

User

We did the residential behaviour modification training for our rescue dog Surge. He is heaps better and the staff at Royvon have been incredible!! We go to the weekly follow up sessions and it's great for that extra bit of socialisation in a controlled environment. Thank you to Romeo who has been a superstar!

User

Thank you Royvon for another brilliant time for Spike and especially Amanda for all his tickles & cuddles. Another 5 star stay for our boy xx

User

So pleased with Royvon prince went to them for a tester session as he has never been to any sort of boarding kennels before and is now 9 he is quite a nervous dog and doesnŌĆÖt get on with other dogs, the staff catered to these needs 100% and he settled so quickly I couldnŌĆÖt be happier with the care he received I will definitely be booking him in when we go away in August

User

Our rescue dog Hunter stayed at Royvon Merthyr for the 21 day behaviour modification programme as he had quite severe dog aggression. I was worried about leaving him in kennels but it was completely unfounded. The staff obviously love dogs and the daily photo updates along with regular video updates reassured me that he was both enjoying his training and benefiting from it. His trainer Kahla Delahay has done fantastic work with him and now we have to build upon everything she has done. We know he's not 'fixed' and will probably always have some issues, but Kahla has given us a good starting point which will hopefully enable him to have a happier life. We're looking forward to our follow up sessions. A big thank you to all the staff who looked after him so well and gave him plenty of love and especially to Kahla who has worked so hard with him. We wouldn't hesitate to leave either of our dogs there again

Our girlie Phoenix just spent 3 weeks under the expert care of Amanda at the Esher site.

Phoenix had a fabulous time, making lots of new friends, whilst learning a whole new set of skills and becoming a master with her obedience training ’┐Į Amanda is a true dog whisperer and IŌĆÖll be forever grateful.

Well done Amanda and Royvon

I would highly recommend Royvon to all my friends and family. ’┐Į

Our boy had the pleasure of attending Coventry Royvon. At 4 years old he had never been in a kennels or away from us before so we was all nervous leaving him for 2 weeks.

It was such a relief seeing almost daily photos/videos of him playing with staff and other dogs (something he doesn't get often is time with other dogs)

It was great to pick him up and see him so happy and healthy!

We won't have to worry about holidaying abroad knowing we have a kennels we can trust. Thanks from us all!

On Sunday our Border Collie, Rio, attended a group session at Royvon Merthyr, hosted by Aleksandra Borawska. There were three other dogs taking part. All the dogs, Rio included, have issues around other dogs. As such, Rio was only expected to watch the session from outside the paddock and work on his confidence. However, his anxiety was soon overcome by curiosity, meaning we were able to take him into the paddock. His confidence seem to grow visibly resulting in Rio taking full part in the session. Aleks was very impressed, as Rio had not coped well with the residential environment and shown a number of anxious responses during his stay at Merthyr. To her credit, Aleks worked really hard with Rio to overcome or work around his issues during his stay and had told us he may well respond better at the follow-up sessions with us around. This was clearly the case on Sunday. So, from here we hope to improve and build on the successes of this weekend, in our future sessions with Aleks and the other dogs and their 'parents'. Aleks' professionalism and honesty throughout has shone through and we know she has both Rio's and our best interest at heart. We extend our heart felt thanks to Aleks and look forward to continuing our - and Rio's - journey with her. Thank you, Martin, Jean & Rio Peters.

Merle is a rescue dog from Cyprus being left there as a five week old pup with no mum up to seven months so he has lots of issues. His main issue is his anxiety and nervousness which comes out as aggression and he was also afraid of people. Merle visited Royvon on a behaviour modification programme for three weeks. His trainer was Aleks. She is really easy to chat to and Merle loved her and all the staff at Royvon Merthyr straight away. He obviously really enjoyed his stay there and has no issues going back for his twice weekly training sessions. His training is ongoing which i work on daily but he is enjoying it and he is getting there. Aleks was full of ideas to keep him calm with lots of enrichment games and is always available if i need to contact her.

Just want to say a big thank you to kahla and everyone else at the Merthyr site for taking such good care of Bailey (whirlwind Bailey as he's known now ¤śé) while he stayed with you on the 3 week behaviour modification program. His trainer kahla was fantastic from start to finish and put me at ease from the get go. Bailey has many issues but his worst by far is his reactivity to other dogs so it was amazing to see his progress when I picked him up today. Although he's not totally there yet (it has only been 3 weeks) he's by far so much more manageable plus I feel confident with the help of kahla over the next 3 months with follow ups he will end up being a totally different dog behaviour wise! Just wish I'd booked him in sooner and not waited. Huge thank you again to kahla and all the Merthyr team ¤śŖ

I sent Kai for Behaviour Modification Programme as he was pulling on the lead so much that no one could really walk him properly. He also needed work on his l obedience. We spent over 3 hours with Nake when on the departure day and could see a massive improvement in Kai. It was great to have so much time with Nake to understand what he has learnt and how we should continue to train him. After his 3 weeks which he truly enjoyed, Kai has been amazing to walk with after the training with Nake. He is a much calmer dog and more obedient. We have still a lot to train him and can now build on what he has learnt from Royvon. Thank you Royvon ’┐Į

I have now had three of my dogs trained at Royvon . Two for general obedience training and recall and one little rescue dog for behavioural training for anxiety .

The best thing at Royvon and undoubtedly what makes it so effective is the dedicated staff . I wasn't too keen to put my dogs into a boarding kennel situation but the staff are amazing . The first two were trained by Ross and then my little anxious rescue dog stayed at home with Rhona and had "in house" training .

It's undoubtedly the staff that make Royvon .

I can't speak highly enough of Ross Henderson and Rhona Nason , beautiful people who have a connection and dedication to dogs that goes beyond it being just a job for them . They love what they do .

I collected Willow yesterday after her 3 week residential stay. She clearly had a lovely time and was well looked after by everyone at Royvon. She enjoyed her training so much that she is looking to me to continue with her and is thoroughly enjoying working with me. Aleks has given Willow an excellent grounding for me to build on and I am looking forward to continuing Willow's training over the next few months. Leaving your dog for 3 weeks is daunting but I can truly say that I would not hesitate to leave Willow in Royvons care again...to see the photos and videos every day of all of the dogs was lovely and clear to see that they had a great party without their owners :-) Thankyou Royvon.

User

George was on the 3 week dog aggression course with Nake. Really pleased with the training he received, George seemed to really enjoy himself. We are continuing with the follow up sessions to reinforce the good training provided by Nake.

George in himself is now generally much calmer than before and we are now, thanks to Nake, using his 'ball obsession' to our advantage with his continual training.

Over all, very pleased and we are hoping that the follow up sessions will be a helpful transition from the Royvon environment to a home environment.

User

Aussie is a rescue dog who previously has never liked staying in boarding kennels. This all changed upon moving to Merthyr and him staying at Royvon for a few days to avoid all the moving chaos.

He's now there for a few days several times per month and loves it so much. He tears down the driveway and head butts his way into the office he's so keen to have fun.

The staff are all fantastic and seem to spend time getting to know and be trusted by all the dogs. The regular updates on Facebook and photos of him having fun are lovely to look at on an evening when I'm away from home.

He genuinely loves it there so much I think he's sad to go home!

User

Aleksandra Borawska was the best. Amazing trainer, great impact on my dog and good communications. Really good, but need to manage your expectations. They don't have magic wands, but they do work miracles. However you have to keep the work going after the three weeks. Cuba my german shepherd has just come back and I already note a difference. Looking forward to the next few weeks. They teach you and the dog how to behave which is awesome. If you are looking for dog training and also going on holiday this is the best place and best value for money.

Aleksandra "Aleks" was outstanding, My dogs loved her and with that love she was able to Build a Bound enough to make my CheChe " french Bulldog " who really has issues with people 200% More confident With people, Honestly a Dramatic Change , my Baby is so much happier! She can now focus more on fun things or exploring rather than always on her full alert worrying when people might approach. Her guard is down and she is enjoying more of the surroundings..

Beluga "Balu" my Other french bulldog puppy was the Main reason for them both going , he is So much calm now and can actually maintain his focus. He is a canon ball waiting to get fired on any occasion lol

Thank you sooo much to all the people in Royvon who cared and loved my babies, was the first time they spent all that time away from me but was worth it because they feel so much more dependent and happy .
