So if your unemployed and looking for a placement, suggest us to your advisor. Good evening Rrrre-vampers, it's been a lovely evening at Warrington Collegiate's supported internship celebration evening. Both Nick & Peter have been with us a few months gaining work experience and tonight they received certificates to congratulate them on completing their time with us. We hope both lads many great wishes and luck for their futures. We are always here for gaining more experience or just to come along and volunteer guys πŸ˜€

Evening RRRRe-vampers . We've had a good volunteers meeting today and have come up with a few fundraisers including a bingo night, quiz night and a few theme nights. If anyone has any prizes they would like to donate or if any businesses would like to pledge their services/goods as a prize, please let us know. We will offer loads of promoting in return πŸ˜ƒ Fundraising committee meeting planned on Friday evening (probably with a bit of wine, beer and yummies threw in for the p...lanners hehe) If anyone has any fundraising ideas or wants to join the committee let us know, also loads of promoting the things we do, offer etc would be good if anyone would like to do a bit of PR for us πŸ˜ƒ Maybe thinking of organising a Bury Market trip if anyone interested too. Anymore ideas?? Chuck them our way πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒhave a good evening, see you all queuing up outside the doors tomorrow hehe

Good evening RRRRE-VAMPERS most of this week and last week we have helped a few families with donations ranging from curtains, bedding, kids clothes, sofas, beds and general household items. We've supported someone with mh crisis, referred 2 people for benefits support and mh referral and we are still getting requests for furniture. We have quite a bit of suplus stock as well as good quality saleable items . Yes it's not all about making money but every bit of profit keeps ...us ticking over and allows us to keep going to support the services we offer. This Sunday is our 5th Birthday (wow has it really been 5 years??!) & although there are changes afoot & we've seen fab volunteers come and go.....its you lot that keeps us going. ......keep the faith peeps and thank you for your continued support, we shall raise a glass on Monday to celebrate πŸŽπŸŽ‰πŸŽŠπŸ»πŸΊπŸΈπŸ·πŸΉ

Good Morning RRRRe-vampers. We've had to postpone our scheduled reopening till Monday 13th March. This is due to problems with signing off the new fire alarm system. Once Julie from the fire brigade comes out this week we shall hopefully be good to go. We are really sorry for any inconvenience caused by our long closure but as always our concern is for your health & safety and our new ceiling, fire system etc is now all in place. We'd like to take the chance to remind you of a few things we services we offer for our community. As well as being a food bank referral point, a mental health referral point, arts & craft courses, community trips etc we also run a few schemes to support low income families. Please checkout our posters below, oh and feel free to share :) Have a fab day folks x

Morning RRRRe-vampers 😊 A local organisation has asked us for our help.......They are desperate for bras, yeah bras! They support ladies in countries less fortunate than us who are unable to gain access to basic needs and the one thing they never get donated is bras. So ladies if you would like to help another lady in need give us your bras!. It doesn't matter what size, colour etc as long as they are in fair condition and clean, we can pass them on. Ask your work mates, family etc and drop them of at the shop, help us to give something a bit more personal to a fellow female ❀❀❀❀ Have a cool day lovely people x

Good morning RRRRe-vampers , Happy New year ☺ our first arts & craft course of this year starts at the Irish club on 13th January 10-12. It's learning the art of paper craft. Due to non attendances again last year we will be asking for a fully refundable £5 deposit to secure your place. We need a minimum of 8 learners to hold the course unfortunately if we don't have enough we won't be able to continue with it. Deposits are being taken now and will be refunded at the end of ...the 6 weeks. Also this year we are reviving the DIT club but with a difference name and concept. Still arts & craft but we will also focus on company, social isolation, chat and making friends. Not everyone likes participating in arts and crafts but like to come along just for a bit of company etc, so let's make it a social gathering with the option of joining in for that weeks arts and crafts makes (Arts & craft charge will be £1). We are changing the name from DIT (Do It Together ) to something else. .....suggestions please? Dates, times will be confirmed when we've spoken to the guys at the irish club, where don't forget they serve tea, coffee and other 'beverages '! See you all soon ☺
