So this is what happens when people who dont know what they are doing fit there own brake pads!!!!! 😱

It's been a wiring week

Well now that cambelt is off you can see just how close it was to failure!! 😱 lokkkng much better now with a full kit, new bolt, and water punp

As this seems to be asked alot...
Just a few words about customer supplied parts .
We don't fit them . ... This offends a few people because they don't really understand our reasons . This isn't because of profit margins etc , it's because we guarantee parts that we fit. We get them from reliable sources and can be assured that they are quality parts .
White box Chinese and fake parts are all too common . Fake coils can overheat , melt , catch fire and spike ECUs causing hundreds , if not thousands of pounds worth of damage .
Fake airbags won't detonate in an accident .
Fake brake discs and pads won't have the correct materials to stop your car and prevent overheating , warping and breaking up under heavy braking .
If you supply a part and we fit it , we become liable for that part as the professional . By fitting that part we are telling you , the customer , that it is fit for purpose .
Therefore , if that part goes wrong, it's our responsibility .
Even when customers say ' but we got them from so and so parts supplier , not eBay ' .....
Many parts suppliers are stocking Chinese and fake parts and re branding them in manufacturers boxes. Believe me , we have been sent them from well established parts suppliers . Fake parts are everywhere.

🤦‍♂️ this is not welding ! Its literally not even penetrated most of the way along! Things like this are just awful

Wow this is lucky!! I'm astonished it hasn't snapped!!! And a now dissolved so called VW specialist put a cambelt on this 2 years ago?! 💩🤦‍♂️😭🤔

I mean seriously which does this, steps back and says "yep thats a good job I'm proud of that!" 🤦‍♂️

How not to fit a rock and roll bed with seat belts!!

Now this is a scary one!! Had just been to a so called specialist for a cambelt a very short while ago!! They didn't even change the fuel pump belt and left it leaking oil everywhere never mind the chunk missing out of the supposed new belt!! So it had to have a full new cambelt/pump belt/ water pump kit and cam and crank seals etc , also it needed ball joints and CV joints! I found the old ball joints where not even pressed all the way into the upper arms truly scary really .

An ex AA VW t4 2.5 TDI 102bhp ACV in for a general check over, and cambelt kit water pump. It had a nasty top end rattle as it got warmer! The worst part being it had been to a VW main dealer 12 months ago to cure the tapping noise ! They fitted a oil pump to it and sent it away 😱 . I cannot believe it had smashed it's way through the followers and still ran ! So it's now had the RS Autos treatment purrs now and drives amazing
