Theo needed a wheeled flight case to protect his 4 RCF Accoustica P2110 - they weigh 30kg each. David remembered we had a TIP flight case for 4 Elation Snipers. After a bit of measuring we figured Theo's Accoutica might just fit into said case, but we would need to try! The result? Like a glove (see picture)! Now that was very satisfying: Helping a customer solve a problem.

Recently revamped and even better than before for most. Previously I think the demo rooms focused too much on "things with Play buttons" (which to be honest, are, with very very few exceptions, are all a bit "same-y"). Now both buildings are kitted out with more useful systems such as over 20 speaker systems all instantly comparable against each other, and a lot of different lighting effects.



Even better after sales service than before, good prices, fast delivery, deep stocks (eg: many items are in-stock on-site rather than having to wait days for a purchase to arrive) and good range of accessories/spares too.



Open 'til 7pm most nights too, so easy to "swing by" after a busy day.



A little tricky to find the first time of visiting but with excellent, safe parking.

I’m a full time wedding specialist DJ & after seeing a number of ad’s as well as youtube promo's for various line array speaker systems, I made up my mind that this is what I needed to bring by mobile DJ set up to the next level, in sound quality as well as looks so after having a lengthy phone conversation with RSD, they advised & invited me that the best option was to visit their studio and sound test a number of systems for sound quality comparison.

I decided to do just this so made an appointment and also booked into a nearby hotel too.

At this stage the system I was really interested in was a pair of the LD Maui 28s in white. What the staff at RSD actually did for me was set up 3 different line array systems, which were as follows: Maui 28, FBT Vertus & Bose L1 as well as a number 4 set up of traditional speaker combination of FBT 18” sub & 12” tops. I listened to all 4 however, it was the array’s I was interested in so I listened to the 3 array systems several times over and over again, the same tracks at the same level were played through each system, which were of all different genres as well as varied studio production differentials in the recordings & in total I was there for approx 3 hours and all the staff were very accommodating, (Dave, Matt, Claire, Sam....sorry if i missed anyone else out ) and even had a lovely cup of tea or 2.

I came away and returned the following day and my decision was clear that the FBT Vertus system in white was in no doubt in my mind, ears & eyes too, that this was the system for me, even though it was twice the price of my original budget.

As this review is for RSD and not the 3 main line array PA systems I tested, I won’t go into the specific details on each system but I’ll be happy to give my opinion to anyone you contacts me.

Dave, boss at RSD, gave me a really good deal too since I also purchased all the cables & cases/covers too.

Setting them up at home a few days later, I had an issue with one of the poles, and RSD were quick in dealing with this, in fact, UK FBT rep Mark came and visited me at my home to try & sort the issue out.

The staff at RSD really do know their stuff and spend a considerable amount of time with you to discuss and advise you on your subject, this is why I travelled over 170 miles and stayed overnight in a hotel rather than to buy from elsewhere.

I visited RSD today and received a very friendly and accommodating service, and I am super happy with my purchases.

I called RSD on the Friday and by the Saturday they had what I asked for and done me a great deal, highly recommend and brilliant service!!

Hi al thanks to David & Claire at RSD music specially David for spending the time 2 hours to be exact to go through all the options of different speakers and wot they can and can't the man him self is a Genius wen it comes to explaining things to and making you listen to the speakers makes such a difference once again you excelled your self but you do need to brush up on your tea making but the coffee was ok on a Final note you get a 5 star from me and wife for customer service and for giving me a great Dill on the speakers I walked away with will be coming back soon to talke about light thanks for a great afternoon you opened my eyes into the speakers and I've now got a brilliant sound system thank to you both and will c you soon

Have been very pleased overall with Dave and his team. My bits have arrived today. More kit coming next week. Appreciate Dave's time and effort spent on my order. Will definitely be buying from here again. Just a shame you guys are not based in Manchester. Highly recommend RSD Music
