Rspb Bempton Cliffs

Excellent bird sanctuary. The cliffs full of gannets. Very good help from the guides. If you are a member of the Caravan Club or RSPB you get free parking and entry

Great time had here.. was a large queue to pay to get in, but waved rspb member cards and bypassed that. Staff at cliffs when we went very knowledgeable. Saw porpoises , Puffins! and many other sea birds, found empty robbed eggs, 7 year old loved it. Thank you RSPB! will be a member for life now! Rocky beaches to explore not far away.. check maps.

Get yourself here! This is such a special place to come and view sea birds. Great viewing platforms but please carry on down the coast for a proper coastal walk! Beautiful views and fresh air! Really is a great place.

Amazing place. Good for walking distances. Good pathways so scooters can be used. Birds are so close. Within feet. They fly past your head as if you're not there. And loads of staff/ volunteers to help u. U can walk for miles along cliff edge. There are also platforms which jut out over the edge so u can get a better view. Brilliant. They serve good coffee and cakes as well. And some food. Or u can eat your own food indoors or outdoors.

Had an absolutely brilliant time.Took my dog with me today and spent 2 hours walking along the coastline.He loved it!
The views are magnificent.Took nearly 100 photos.The centre is informative and the staff are very friendly.Lots of souvenirs to choose from, as well as a clean cafe with a good selection of food and drinks.Outside there are picnic areas and well situated benches scattered around for a scenic rest.
Well done to all concerned and keep up the good work.

Great place to see the Atlantic Puffins and other seabirds. Lovely visitor centre and plenty of wardens on hand if you have a question

There is plenty of car parking spaces available here. The staff are all very enthusiastic about the birds and are very informative. We took our dogs with us on the walk. The scenery was amazing. We saw lots of different birds. It was a great day we'll worth paying to see. We would go back here anytime.

Well it was lovely when we set off from Thornwick to Bempton Cliffs but on arriving the sea mist engulfed us and we couldn't see anything! Oh well we had a nice cup of coffee! Will have to try again soon. Nice shop/cafe and toilets.

Absolutely stunning stretch of coastline with amazing views. The visitor centre staff are very polite and helpful. It's great that there are very accessible paths for wheelchair users. The observation points are excellent to watch the sea birds from. And if you're lucky, you'll get to see puffins among them up until mid July.

Wonderful place to see and learn about birds. Lovely, very knowledgeable and really helpful staff who are very approachable and do everything to assist visitors.

There's a shop stocked with very interesting books, a great range of binoculars and gifts, etc., a nice cafe with great views and a large live video display of bird life, as well as a virtual reality experience to try. You can buy snacks, cakes, drinks, etc. You can also take your own food and they even let visitors use the microwave!

Instantly a favorite pace to visit!

Great modern visitor centre. Perfect location to see gannets, Guillemots, razor bills, kittiwakes and puffins (at the right time of year!). Also saw a pair of short eared owls hunting in meadow next to car park. Excellent exposure for kids to a variety of bird life. Lovely!

Good centre for birdwatchers/walkers/cyclists of all ages. Good effort at making it an accessible site (not throughout but some cliff access). Great views of the cliffs! Liked their use of VR headset to view sister site in Northumberland.

Good for seeing sea birds on the cliffs, Puffin's when they visit. Information on web site and well set out viewing area's friendly helpful staff.
