¤É░ HERA ¤É░
Beautiful Hera has been at the centre since 4/05/19! She came into our care via an inspector in very poor condition. Now she is fit and well, and has also been spayed, vaccinated, and chipped, she is ready to find her forever home. She is a 2 year old female X breed, who is of an inquisitive and excitable nature. Hera prefers to have all 4 paws on the ground when interacting with humans, but she does enjoy a gentle head tickle. Ideally the home we are looking for Her...a is an experienced rabbit home. 1st time owners who are interested in adopting a rabbit from us need to be well researched in rabbit welfare, care, and behaviour. Also Hera could be rehomed with children of primary school age, also she would love to be in large outdoor accommodation for her to binky, bop, and play. Hera could also be rehomed with a neutered male. If you think you can provide Hera a forever home, and adhere to her needs, please visit our website to fill in an online application form. ¤Éć www.rspcaburton.org.uk

If you're upgrading your paddling pool or the kids have out grown it, please consider donating to the Animal home for our dogs to have some cooling splash time in this warm weather! If possible, hard sided (not inflatable) paddling pools are best ŌśĆ ¤ÉČ ¤Æ”

Sensitive Shadow needs a calm and patient owner who will bring out her true personality! She is a Rottie cross, 2yrs old, and arrived with another dog due to unsuitable accommodation. We have found her to be the sweetest of girls, but she can get frightened by loud noises and boisterous dogs. She hasn't received much training, and can be quite strong on the lead and jumps up- alot! She loves a good game of football or chasing after her squeaky ball. Shadow would suit a very active person or couple, with older children and a confident laid back dog to bring her out of her shell. If you think you could offer this, please see our website for more information: https://eur02.sheltermanager.com/serviceŌ Ć”

Say hello to Mr Handsome; Shylo! This boy is only a baby at 18 months old and he is such a soppy lad! He has the most amazing temperament and is picking up his training very well! He arrived with another dog, due to the accommodation they were living in wasn't suitable for them both. He was awful on the lead but now walks nicely on a head collar and is VERY dog friendly. Shylo will need an active home, where owners can give him the exercise he needs. Being a Malamute, he will need regular grooming so please take this into account before applying to adopt. He can live with other dogs after a few meet + greets but older children are advised due to his boisterousness. To find out more please see our website: https://eur02.sheltermanager.com/serviceŌ Ć”

We LOVE that people can help us and our animals by doing small fundraisers on their birthday. Help Cain reach his target!

Could you be the forever home Lieutenant is dreaming of?!
This lovely little boy is the last of the litter to be rehomed and he's feeling pretty sad without his siblings. He's looking for a home where he can have a feline friend or two, who won't mind showing him the ropes and who can hopefully help him feel more secure when he's worried.
Lieutenant and his siblings were born into a feral colony, so when they first arrived at around 8 weeks old they were very overwhelmed. So...me time in a foster home has done wonders and Liuetenant's confidence is growing by the day. He can still be nervous of new places and people but with plenty of time and love, we have no doubt he will be a fantastic pet.
A home with atleast one other cat is a must for this little one. He lived with one sensible child in his foster home and could possibly do so again if they understood he needs space and isn't a toy. We think dogs would be a little too intimidating for him at the moment so a dog free home is needed.
Give us a call on 01283 569165 for more info or fill out one of our online adoption questionnaires if you're interested in making Lieutenant part of the family: https://www.cognitoforms.com/RSPCA/adopti onquestionaire

¤ÉŠTransformation Tuesday ¤ÉŠ
From scared scraggly stray to handsome hunk... Moses has had quite a journey with us!
When he arrived around Easter time (hence the name) he was skinny, very shy and his coat had definitely seen better days. He would spend his days hiding outside under his blankets, too scared to make friends with us. He kept up that wall for all of 3 days, before he let down his guard and showed what a sweet little man was hiding under the shabby exterior.
... Being a stray for so long has obviously taken it's toll on poor Moses and he does still have his shy moments. However, his friendly character far overshadows the timid times and with a patient owner he will no doubt find his feet and get back in the swing of life in a comfy and loving home.

Still, our pint sized Collie cross, Tom, is waiting patiently for his new owner to come along! Tom is a nearly 8yr old Collie cross, who is finding kennel life extremely difficult. He LOVES to be around people, and is usually found cuddling or sitting on somebodies knee! Tom is a very touchy feely dog, and does like reassurance a lot of the time. He has had such a rubbish life so far; home after home, so this is not surprising. Tom's ideal home needs to be pet and child free. He is reactive to passing dogs when on walks, but if introduced over a period of time, he is dog friendly, especially to older, laid back canines.(he has previously lived with dogs in the past) He walks beautiful on the lead but doesn't care too much for toys, unless the mood takes him! Please share for this beautiful boy!
