There are a number of ways you can help care for the animals that find themselves at the Centre and every piece of the puzzle is so important for us to continue to #SupportLocalAnimalsInNeed
- Apply to be a volunteer, our roles vary from help with animal care to assisting in one of our charity shops... - Donate any of your unwanted clothes, furniture, books, bric-a-brac or shoes to our shops- our charity shops are an important income stream for the Centre - Donate blankets, towels, dog toys, cat toys, newspapers and kitten food (Whiskas or Felix) to our Animal Care Team - Have one of our collection boxes in your business or organisation - Bake cakes for us to sell at our events - Tell your family and friends about us- always think about adopting!

** The BIG Donation Station **

+ 16+ children + no other pets + quiet home + needs help to build confidence + SBT experience preferred
... Here with have the beautiful lady who is a 3 year old SBT who came to us as her owner could no longer cope.
She has lived a very sheltered life and hasnt had much experience of the world so will need owners with time and love to show her that the world can be a wonderfully fun place.
With her not having much socialization she is better suited as the only pet. We are working on her encounters with dogs and making sure they are all positive ones as she can be a little unsure of dog language.
Poor lady does go low alot of the time and she is a friendly girl who just needs the confidence boost to hold her head high and her shoulders back.
She is used to some one being around her alot so she would need to be eased into being left alone. She loves being around you and you will become her world.

Sherwood is a lovely male rat who came into the centre after being found abandoned in a cage behind a block of flats.
He is such a lovely affectionate boy who will make a wonderful friend and companion.
He is fine to handle and pick up and is very loving and inquisitive.
... Like larger pets small animals require plenty of love and attention too.
Please be sure to do your research before adopting a small animal it is important to consider how much time and space a small animal needs as well as ensuring you have the right accommodation and location for that accommodation.
We are always happy to help so please feel free to call us or email for help and advice.
Please also be aware when adopting a small animal for children some are nocturnal so will only be active at night.

Marnie and her kittens are looking for a temporary foster home, the home would preferably have a quiet spare room for Marnie to stay in while she nurses her five, 2 week old kittens. Marnie is an affectionate cat who loves people and lots of cuddles.
