Quy 1 year old Male American Bulldog Arrived 13th May... Fostered in Sandbach
PUPPY LOVE!!! This is one BIG LOVE BUG people! Please stand in line for your share of LICKS and KISSES!
The last two photos show where Quy and Gracie (with Crewe & Nantwich Branch) were abandoned. Quy's eye was so painful he couldn't open it, the condition known as Entropion had never been dealt with, it's where the eyelids roll inside and the lashes scratch the eyeball permanently. He was at Manchester Animal Hospital for two weeks for the operation to remove both sections of eyelids. He did have a Grade 2 heart murmur a couple of weeks back but upon a recent check it was practically inaudible. Quy would love a home with another dog, but if not then you must be a sociable dog walker because he loves other dogs and to deprive him of this would be cruel. He's so clumsy with his size and bounciness small children would struggle with this and he needs someone home most of the time. Existing dogs need to be fully vaccinated, neutered and micro chipped.
A few words from his fosterer: "Quy is a happy puppy. This beautiful boy is an overgrown lapdog. He is a big strong boy who loves walks, people and cuddling on the sofa. Quy is settling very well, and is learning his manners. When he meets new people he just wants to give kisses and so can be very bouncy. Once he had settled he will rest next to you on the sofa with his head on your lap. He is honestly the most cuddly dog, after a walk he does just wants to curl up and sleep near you!
Quy has got on well with all the dogs he has met. He’s very puppy like in his play so would need a companion who is just as lively as he is. He does show a bit of separation anxiety but that's to be expected considering the situation. He has shown no nastiness or mouthing when he is playing, nor with his toys or food. He just wants to give all the kisses! Quy is very trainable, and has already learnt “sit” and “lie down”. He is starting to figure out that when he is calm he gets more attention so doesn’t need to be so bouncy. At the end of the day, he is still very young. He does get quite distracted when he is outside or he sees another dog, but this just because he wants to say hi. He doesn’t love the car but is getting better with this."

Whiskers Male 5 years old Domestic Short Haired Exotic mix Arrived 13th May... Private boarding, Rode Heath
This highly unusual looking boy has found himself in our care after being abandoned, a neighbour contact the RSPCA. We are not sure but we believe the owner may have became homeless. We don't have any history on Whiskers but we think he's been the only pet, he is super friendly and confident and would probably suit most households, although no other pets just in case. It's very hard to get decent photos because he can't stay still long enough, but it's obvious he's a looker! He is looking for a home where he can come and go and not be confined. He was already neutered and we have micro chipped and vaccinated him.

Bruce Male Domestic Short Haired 7 years old approx Arrived 13th May... Private boarding, Rode Heath
Brucey boy is a big lad, weighing in at 5.5 kg! He's a nice big tom who has certainly been through the mill, he was a stray brought in by an Inspector with minor injuries to his front legs, the finder we think may have cared for him but he and the other cats would fight so he couldn't go back. At first he is shy of you and vocal about it, but if you talk to him softly and stroke him reassuringly he is quite happy and affectionate and purrs. He just needs a quiet comfy home to chillax and to be doted on after all he's been through. So that means no children and no other pets. He is neutered, chipped and vaccinated.

Lollipop Female Lop/Lionhead cross 1 Year Approx Arrived 13th May... Private boarding, Rode Heath
"My girl Lollipop, you made my heart go giddy-hop!" Lollipop was brought into the Manchester Animal Hospital by a member of public who found her hoping about in a park in Salford, so she has either escaped from her home or she's been abandoned. We think she is a young adult but it's hard to know for sure, she is confident, happy and eats well. Lollipop has been neutered, micro chipped and vaccinated. She is of course looking for a home with a neutered boy to enjoy the rest of her life with. Housing requirement is a ‘minimum’ sized 6x2x2ft hutch with a minimum ‘attached’ 8x4ft, 6x6ft or 10x4ft run, depending on the size of the rabbits, PLUS freedom to a secure garden/alternative area for stimulation, or a bespoken set up; exercise space and enrichment is most important! Existing rabbit needs to be vaccinated with RHD1/Myx and RHD2. We do offer a free bonding service too! Please read this info on suitable accomodation http://rabbitwelfare.co.uk/rabbit-hou…/ why-hutch-not-enough/

**MISSING CAT - MACCLESFIELD AREA** Darcy is missing, he was last seen 07/05/19 in Moss Chase (off Moss Lane) in Macclesfield, and has not been seen since. We're concerned because there's building work near us and he may have got spooked and got himself lost. He's beige / ginger and about 6 years old and was last wearing a red collar. He is also a little chubby (but surprising fast), microchipped and neutered. Please call Anthony on 07759579182 with any info, Thank you.

Patsy Female 2 years old Domestic Short Haired Arrived 7th May 2019... Private boarding cattery, Rode Heath
This gorgeous girl was originally adopted early 2017 when 8 weeks old (she was found outside as a tiny kitten with no mother present) but since the arrival of a baby a few months ago Patsy has not adjusted, her owners tried everything they could to try and alleviate it to no avail. When cats become poorly, or stressed and unhappy it can lead them to stress spraying. So they took her to see a vet to rule out an infection and after a urine test was done and it came back negative she was diagnosed with Stress. So they came to the very sad decision to return her so she can find another home where she can be happy again.
She absolutely adores cuddles - will be picked up by a new owner in time but maybe not straight away but she loved her previous owners picking her up, she’s confident, super affectionate and very playful, she also has her comfort blanket which she sometimes suckles on so this must go with her. Patsy needs a home without young children, but she could be slowly introduced to a new cat as long as it’s cat friendly as apparently she loves other cats!

Chloe Female 10-11 years old DSH Arrived 27th April 2019... Private boarding in Rode Heath
This pretty lady has come into our care because her owner died, her Son being very close to her and Chloe took responsibility in finding her a new home privately but it did not work out, she came back after a couple of weeks as they had another cat and they didn't get on, so Chloe landed back at the empty property and no-one could take her due to personal circumstances. Chloe is a lovely cat but she is understandably a bit stressed at the moment. In the home she’s confident and she will let you know when it’s time to show her attention. She would like an adult only home, she's used to peace and quiet and popping out to the garden when she feels like it, she's not a roamer! She is already neutered and chipped and has been health checked and started vaccinations, she has had a dental resulting in two extractions. She's a healthy girl whose world has been turned upside down and needs to find a new cosy home so she can be herself again.

Lola Staffordhsire Bull Terrier Female 1 year 8 months. Arrived 22nd May... Chesterfield Animal Centre
Lovely Lola. Just look at those ears, she could fly! She is a lovely, fussy girl who is very friendly. She can easily become excitable (she's still a puppy really!) and lively so will need an owner who can give her the basic training she requires. Lola is ideally looking for a pet and child free home where she'll get much needed undivided attention! She came into our care via inspectors as the previous owner was not feeding the three dogs properly, which in turn caused scraps to break out, the owner did not seek veterinary treatment for unjuries either. Thankfully Lola is now away from that horrid environment and enjoying life, but a new life in a fab loving new home is her wish! For more information about Lola and his re-homing requirements please call the animal centre on 01246 273358.
