Some AMAZING news to share ππππππ
As you know all our cats and kittens are cared for at Bowlers Boarding Cattery in Marple before they go to their forever homes.
The Cattery has to abide by lots of rules and regulations and recently even more were introduced which they have to follow.
... Due to a massive team effort at Bowlers they have achieved a FIVE STAR rating, the highest possible, which is a FANTASTIC result!!!!!
Congratulations to all involved weβre all very proud of you βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ x

Jess is still available for adoption πππ
Jess is 7 years 11 months old and is currently under the care of Macclesfield RSPCA at Chesterfield RSPCA animal centre
The RSPCA just loves Staffies, and it's really no surprise as to why, loyal, easy to train, eager to please, they look hard on the outside (according to some people!) but are soft and gooey on the inside! Jess is a really nice dog who is very good with people and has been around young children. We have placed her to ...live with children 5+. She is ok seeing other dogs being walked around the centre but doesn't enjoy close contact so would need to be rehomed as an only dog.
She's found herself in kennels due to an irresponsible owner who didn't abide by the law and was taken away leaving poor Jess behind. We don't know if she has lived with other animals but we think she would be best placed as an only pet. She walks well on a harness, loves playing with toys and running around and enjoys lots of fuss and attention!
Please phone the centre on βͺ01246 273358β¬ or visit https://chesterfield-rspca.org.uk/contact / x

A lovely update on Attcus (was Scrappy) who was adopted from us 3 months ago...how stunning does he look?! π
βAttcus is turning out to be a big, powerful, athletic boy who is turning into a very loving cat, he enjoys being brushed and generally made a fuss of. He is enjoying life, playing in the garden and out in the fields having big adventuresβ.
Just lovely x

Who remembers Nala (was Samantha)? πππ
Nala was adopted from us in October 2018. Her Mum said βSheβs settled in really wellβ. I think we can see that from these lovely photos!
We love hearing how our rescue kitties are getting on, it makes it all worthwhile πππ x
What an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish!
Thank you! β‘
We have just brought Candy home:-) we are all delighted. She has settled in perfectly. Want to say a huge thank you for everything and to sarah who made it all happen. Photos will be posted for all to see:-)
We arranged a view for Mango on Friday, had home visit on Saturday and collected her on Sunday. She has been with us for 24 hours but feels like she has always been here. A very much loved member of the family already. Thanks to everyone involved. You all do a fab job xxx
We adopted our wonderful Jack Russell Stanley. All the volunteers were very knowledgeable kind and helpful.
We adopted a lovely staffie/cross last year from the Chesterfield Branch of the RSPCA,called Ralph, who was transferred from your branch originally, and I would like to say, best thing we ever did,he is gorgous and so loving.xx
We adopted Monty from the bowlers cattery around 4 weeks ago. Amazing, kind and helpful staff.... truely mean well! Gillian has been particularly amazing with her pre and post home checks, providing us with loads of information and making Monty's transition a smooth one... she shared pictures of Monty and his brother Jura and really made us feel excited about our new family member. Thank you all ... keep up your amazing efforts! π
My two beautiful boys now 6 weeks in and very much loved and at home not had the guts to let them out tho! Broken heart is on the mend thanks to you xxx
Just brought MOLLY home to her forever home x she and my other golden are already great friends x a really big thank you to Sarah for all the hard work in making this happen :-) x
I was lucky enough to adopt one of the puppies that were abandoned at the beginning of the year. Without the dedication of the volunteers at the branch he may not have been here today. I can't recommend this branch enough, Brody has been a wonderful addition to our family!
I adopted 3 kittens from the branch almost 2 years ago. Everyone was so helpful - from my initial enquiry right through to me picking the kittens up from the fosterer. All The volunteers bent over backwards to help me and even provided advice even after the adoption was complete. Everyone's kindness was very much appreciated. I would wholeheartedly recommend the branch to anyone looking to adopt and volunteer x
I adopted 'Bella' a cross Boxer/Rottweiler ' when she was 5 month old, she had problems to begin with experiencing 'separation anxiety'. Everyone was very supportive, including the dog psychologist I was put in touch with. Bella soon settled down after a few months and we have never looked back. My life wouldn't be the same without her.
Had two gorgeous cats from here, hoping for a third. So well looked after and healthy x
Fantastic charity. We got a kitten from here today and she's the healthiest, happiest kitten i've ever seen! Keep up the great work x
Cats amazingly looked after, thorough with vaccinating, care and have loads more babies to adopt! Thank you RSPCA Stockport from Tau's mum xx :)
Brilliant job! We adopted Kato and Jeeves last week and have never looked back! Feels like they've always been part of our family and we were supported all the way x
Adopting Mia (formerly Peppa) is one of the best decisions we've ever made. Mia couldn't be happier in her new home and without the RSPCA looking after her in the transition between being 'given up' and being rehomed she wouldn't be the amazing dog she is :)
They were very practical, and honest - so we knew exactly what we were getting into. We had Mia within a week of meeting her.
Thanks to everyone who had an input xxx
Adopted a beautiful cat today and everyone involved were so helpful, they love the cats as much we do xx I wish i could adopt more but this is my fifth ;) x
Adopted Lily just over a week ago. Caroline who was looking after her for the rspca was nothing but helpful. The home vist last lady again was very helpful and went through everything and left me with nothing to ask. We couldn't of wished for a better cat. She tests the boundaries from time to time but she is beautiful. Would recommend to anyone.
Absolutely brilliant team of people thank you so much for our gorgeous boy he's our missing piece in the family
