If you're having a new year clear out and have some unwanted gifts - you can always donate them to us and help local rescue cats in need.
We have many fundraising events throughout the year and are always looking for good quality gifts for raffle or tombola prizes.
Unwanted gifts can be taken to the Bluebell Ridge Centre at Chowns Hill, Hastings, which is open 11am - 3pm everyday, except Thursdays.
... Thank you for your kind support. πŸ’™

Merry Christmas from the Bluebell Ridge team!
We hope that you have enjoyed our Christmas advent calendar and a big thank you to everyone who supported us in 2018 - whether it has been giving up your time to help us raise money, working alongside us as volunteers at the centre, donating funds and items to help the Branch and sharing our posts with your friends - we simply couldn't exist without your help.
Best wishes, Myra - Centre Manager

What a lovely place Bluebell rescue centre is. We recently adopted our little kitten Theo from there. All the staff were lovely, helpful and patient with answering our questions and they definitely have the cats interest at heart. We would definitely recommend Bluebell to anyone who may be considering adopting a cat.

Thank you all so much! X

User

The staff were so helpful and friendly. We couldn't be happier with Bramble and he seems to love his new home.

User

The staff are wonderful and so dedicated to the job. They helped become fur-parents to the most gorgeous and inspiring cat!

The cats at the centre are well cared for, and the staff ensure that prospective adopters are fully aware of the needs of the cats they want to adopt. The lady who did the home visit was polite and kind, but also very thorough in undertaking her assessment to ensure me and my home is suitable. I've very recently adopted a very shy cat, and I was made fully aware of this, and that it may take a long time for him to settle, so I was willing and prepared for the challenge ahead. I am extremely happy with my experience of Bluebell Ridge.

User

Lovely staff, my Mum got her little one from here and would highly recommend it if you feel you could give a home to a furbaby in need x x

User

Just the best place with the most adorable cats and wonderful staff

User

I cant thank the RSPCA enough for doing everything to get my thoroughly adored cat Lord Snuggles back, he was missed so much by the other cats and it goes without saying me... He is adored and I was at my witts end looking for him with no success.

So pleased that I got him chipped and the support from Petlog and the RSPCA was masses.

Great to meet Claire and think the work she does is fantastic.

Thanks again and much hugs Frith and my catty tribe xxx

Having a 2 and a 4 year old has proved a bit of an issue with other animal sanctuaries despite living in a rural area and having a large garden and no other pets. However, the lovely staff at Bluebell Ridge were extremely knowledgeable and understanding of our situation and, when we visited with the children, made sure we were directed towards child friendly potential cats so that they weren't disappointed. We found our beautiful Lola and Delilah very quickly and though it is taking them a little while to come out of their shell, they are swiftly becoming more confident and happy in their new home. The information we were given by the RSPCA was extremely helpful in terms of how best to acclimatise rescue cats to a new place and from finding our girls to taking them home we only had to wait a week. I can't recommend the lovely staff highly enough. I only wish we could have some more fur babies!

User

Great experience! Quick and painless adoption, I'm so happy I went to Bluebell Ridge.

User

From start the finish through the whole adoption process the staff have been excellent. Really friendly, professional and supportive. I cant recommend Bluebell Ridge enough.

User

Lovely friendly place.very clean. The cats are always please to see friendly people.

I got my cat there nearly 8 years ago and shes doing really well.

User

I liked the place but when they came round to inspect just because the woman crashed her car she was in a very foul mood . I'm only 10 years old and they have broken my true spirit for Christmas :( When my mummy told me that we couldn't have it I broke down in tears because that kitten brought back so many memories @

We've been left feeling it would be easier to adopt a child from Social Services than a cat from here! Bluebell Ridge is a nice enough cattery for the cats but the staff have no idea how to treat people. We've had to jump through so many hoops and, despite having cared for cats over the last 30 years, we've been treated like absolute idiots! We work from home, live in a large detached house with gardens and have no children or other pets. However, the patronising staff decided that we wasn't suitable for most of the cats that they have as they were looking for people with a quieter house! We've visited several times and at each visit we've been left standing around for 20 minutes before anyone could be bothered to talk to us. They don't want to part with the younger cats and give you ridiculous lists of terms and conditions for adopting the older ones. At the house visit we felt very uncomfortable and were talked to as if we were toddlers! We wouldn't recommend this humiliating experience to anyone.
