What a lovely restaurant. A lovely lunchtime menu. Staff were very lovely to.

What a lovely restaurant, a little quirky, and different. Although very busy, we were quickly seated upstairs. Lovely atmosphere, busy and bustling but not too noisy, and you could have a conversation. Friendly attentive staff, and beautiful food, everything excellent, will visit again if in Chester, a definite must especially if you enjoy Thai food.

We have visited this restaurant many times, always had a lovely reception and outstanding meal.

We had a beautiful lunch here today for my birthday. It's been a few years since we were last here and we don't know why!

The food is so fresh and flavoursome and the service is perfect.

We ate here last night for our anniversary and it didn't disappoint the food was amazing the red curry I had was perfect and reminded me of our honeymoon in Thailand and my wife's massaman curry was so delicious and spiced just right even our 2 year old enjoyed it!!! And as for the service we couldn't ask for more the staff all went out of their way to make sure our daughter was entertained and fed well throughout our time their. They even brought out some melon for her to snack on whilst waiting for our meals and then took her for a tour of the restuarant and she came back with some chocolate she loved every minute of it and it made our meal so much more relaxing can't wait to head back and try some different items on the menu. If your looking for an authentic Thai in chester then look no further and go check it out we will be back very soon

Visited yesterday for the first time on our friends recommendation and we were not disappointed. Beautiful food, so tasty and aromatic, the staff were very friendly and accommodating with our requests for changing the meals to exactly what we fancied for a small charge .... would definitely recommend and will certainly visit again when we are next in Chester

The best Tai food in Chester!!

Oh my goodness, haven’t had such tasty authentic Thai food for years and although it is an hour travel time for us to get there, I will be going back as soon as possible . The restaurant is quaint, cozy and spotless and service was perfect, not rushed but not slow either. Would highly recommend Green curry and Massaman. �����

My wife and I are regulars at Ruan Orchid as we are of the opinion that it's the best and most authentic Thai Restaurant in the area. It's all good, but the spicy beef salad is to die for.

My favourite place for Thai ever ever.... staff are so kind and welcoming and the food is the best Thai food you will find for miles and miles- I promise!!

Lovely staff, friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and prompt. Service was excellent. Loved the atmosphere and music choice, felt very light and comfortable. Would most definitely return back to sample more of their delicious cuisine !

It was our first time in the Ruan Orchid Thai Restaurant, it's got such a beautiful ambience and looks lovely , the food was gorgeous the presentation is amazing , fantastic service and friendly staff. I got a pleasant surprise my partner actually got down on one knee and proposed to me and everyone clapped and congratulated us , so special , we will definitely be back .

I've been enjoying food from here for 8 years! The food is fabulous. The presentation is breathtaking and the taste is amazing. The staff are wonderful too, we always get a warm welcone from all of them.

Have eaten here many times at lunch time and does not disappoint the food is stunning and the service excellent I love the Ryan orchid salad and red Thai curry and this time had the banana and pineapple fritters to share and amazing

First visit to a Thia Restaurant which was a spur of the moment decision. Had the two course meal and have to say it was outstanding. Both quality of food and service. Someone has previously commented bland food? My food certainly wasn't bland it was very tasty indeed with different flavours all coming through individually and together left me leaving the restuarant content and looking forward to another visit. Big thank you to all those who cooked and served us.

Excellent food and super service with Julie. The duck spring rolls were the best I've had and the chicken satay skewers were tasty as well. My garee was not the typical yellow curry it was more subtle and complex. Tasty!

We were on holiday in the area and visited Chester for the day. We stumbled on the Ruan Orchid and decided it was serendipity. We ordered from the 2 course lunch menu and were not disappointed. The food was exceedingly well presented and the Thai curry was delicious. Staff attentive and helpful. Will definitely eat here again on next visit
