Baby Lola in for her first full groom. She'd previously been in for a puppy introduction to grooming session so it wasn't all completely strange for her. She managed very well with the process and I'm glad I will be able to watch her grow up!

So sweet and full of character!

Something of a regal nature about these two beautiful doodles - one black, one white - from the same litter. Their coats can become challenging if not groomed regularly, particularly darker coats. I'm delighted these two are already rebooked so I can keep them both looking and feeling their best.

10 month old French Bulldog 'Bailey', such a sweet boy more interested in eating my ears than getting his hair done!

Coker is coming from Spain next month, in to foster care locally. He's booked in with me, for the most gentle time and groom I can possibly give him, to rid him of his matts and getting him to look as handsome as he possibly can, ready for his new forever home. Can't wait to meet you Coker!

This beautiful kind lab is pictured next to all the loose undercoat I removed. She looked so shiny and fluffy afterwards, a real transformation! I'm sure she felt beautiful too.

Beautiful Sally Springer popped in yesterday - not for a full groom this time but rather a 'winter tidy' - bathing, brushing and feet tidy so she'll be looking her best for Christmas. I just found this about the breed on Wikipedia 'less than a century ago, springers and cockers would come from the same litter. The smaller "cockers" hunted woodcock while the larger littermates were used to flush, or "spring", game. In 1902, The Kennel Club recognized the English Springer Spaniel as a distinct breed.'

Just a little chocolate brown Chihuahua in for a spruce yesterday. So very very very cute! Beautiful boy!

Patch the wire haired terrier after his handstrip, handsome mmm mm!

So nice to welcome lovely collie cross Ruby to my parlour. Proud to share her owner's feedback 'Thank you so much for Ruby’s hair cut, it’s so lovely. She looks beautiful and I imagine feels beautiful too!! Many super thanks 🙂'

Apparently, Daisy has had to wait a long time before finding her forever loving home. Now she's there to stay! What a delightful and welcome visitor to my parlour today. She left looking like a beautiful little lamb.

Charlie's been coming to me for his groom for several years now, but has just been for his first weeks holiday with me whilst his human mum got married in Gretna Green! Here's his before and after - love his 'I'm handsome' pose!

I've just received promotional material from a grooming service on Admiral park. It offers a deshedding treatment for just £8 on top of the price of a groom. What? Winter coats may well start to shed soon, but whatever time of the year it is, grooms at RubyGrooms ALWAYS include deshedding. I couldn't imagine a full groom which didn't! No hidden extra costs here!

He's a Chorkie - ChihuahuaxYorkie. But never mind that he's just SWEET!

User

Phew! Back to back appointments today. Here's a little gallery of some of my furry clients this Saturday....

I welcomed this little Cavachon (Cavalier King Charles/Bichon Frise) to my parlour this week; a delightful, kind affectionate boy, with huge irresistible eyes which say 'love me!'

The Cairn Terrier comes in an assortment of colours: Black, Red, Grey, Brindle, Cream, Wheaten. I wasn't sure what to expect when a new customer booked in their two Cairns for hand stripping. Freddie was a very big wheaten boy! Rona arrived grey but left brindle. It was particularly fascinating to reveal the quite different colour beneath Rona's loose coat. A real pleasure to handstrip the wire coat of two beautiful Cairns.
