Ruby Slippers

In January 2010 Ruby started to have dance lessons at a local dance studio. On display there was the most fabulous pair of shoes we had ever seen. They were a pair of 'RUBY RED' Swarovski crystal high heels. We later found out that the dance teacher had crystalled them himself. I told Ruby we would do this to her new dance shoes. Sadly only a few weeks later Ruby became unwell and just a month later was diagnosed with Leukaemia. Obviously the shoes were forgotten about. BUT in December last year when we were quite snowed in and looking for things to do keep us occupied, we remembered the shoes. So I sent off for some Swarovski and we set about crystalling a very plain pair of silver pumps for Ruby. Well were both addicted. Like me Ruby is very creative and has a passion for making. She is such a perfectionist and likes everything to be just so. We have made other shoes and a phone cover and are very good at it. When ever Ruby wears the shoes or the trainers she gets so many compliments and positive remarks. Being called RUBY I sure she was born to 'sparkle and Shine'. So that is how 'RUBY SLIPPERS' has been created. If you would like to put a some of this magic into your life just let us know. We can sparkle anything the list is endless.
