Say hello to Luna, she's now all fully grown up at the final shoot from her trilogy puppy shoot. It has been wonderful watching her grow from the tiny puppy she was just under a year ago when I first met her. What a beautiful Springer she is. ❤️

There's nothing like a dog enjoying itself in the water! 😃Here is a further photo from the sequence which I took a few weeks ago of Bracken who's human won the raffle in December 2018 from the South Yorkshire English Springer Spaniel Rescue Fund Raiser.

Another crazy action shot, this time of Murphy showing how well he can hold a training dummy. He loves it so much he doesn't seem interested now in his tennis balls. (It's only taken him 2 years)!! 😄

Action shots are always a challenge to capture but they really show a dogs personality off and demonstrate the fun element of dog photography. Here is Nala a 4 month old chocolate lab going hell for leather with ears flapping wildly during a recent photo shoot on Baildon Moors. What a beautiful dog she was. ❤️

This photo of Harry, a Lemon Roan Cocker was from one of the craziest photo shoots I've done so far. 😄 Five dogs in total attended the photo shoot, Pippa the Springer, Jasmine the miniature Snauzer, Tilly, another Cocker & Tess a Russell. We had a great time though, all the dogs loved the walk, in particular Harry who was constantly looking for Pheasants.

Despite the freezing conditions I still cannot keep this lad out of the water. Why do they insist on jumping in every pool of water they can find! Roll on the warmer weather. 😃

Mac was blown away by the reaction received from everyone for the photo of him in his waistcoat by the waters edge which I posted recently so he insisted I show you another photo of him from the same shoot at Ilkley Moor. 😃 I think he's getting quite attached to his beautiful waistcoat.

A long overdue post, sorry folks I've just been very busy. A pre Christmas shot of one of my most accommodating models, Murphy. I promised him some special treats this Christmas if he'd just cooperate for five minutes....I guess I owe him those treats. 😊

Thanks to everyone who attended Langsett Reservoir today for the annual South Yorkshire English Springer Spaniel fundraiser. RuffMuttPawtraits little fundraiser, selling raffle tickets for a free photo shoot raised a pawsome £152 for the charity and Chris with ticket number 50 was the winner and will be having his free photo shoot very shortly. 😊

South Yorkshire English Springer Spaniel Rescue are holding their annual fund raising event and I am proud to be involved with their charity. There’s plenty to do, fetch the hounds, enjoy a walk around the beautiful reservoir or simply stay for a chat in the barn and enjoy a piping hot cup of soup and a sandwich while chatting to fellow dog lovers.

I had such a great time photographing Pepper the Staffy last month that I thought I'd post another studio shot but this time with a Cocker Spaniel. As the colder and wetter days approach I may have to fall back to some studio work which I am really enjoying, perhaps I should do more! Let me introduce the beautiful Pepper, a stunning blue Staffy pup. Pepper is only 10 weeks old & hadn't yet had all her jabs so we opted for a studio shoot to keep her safe. She was an absolute pleasure to photograph and I'm sure her humans will love this sneak preview of her and will be looking forward to seeing her other images I'll be editing over the next few days. 😀

We all have a special bond with our dogs and that's what I strived to capture in this simple shot of a man and his dog. For me this sums up the friendship that we form with our dogs & it illustrates the love the dog has for it's owner.
