Rumsey’s Bake Off is back for another week. Middle Eastern Ma’amoul Pastries. Short, buttery pastry (similar in taste to shortbread) stuffed with dates, rose water & cinnamon or chopped walnuts, raisins & honey. Made by our chocolatier Sam and on sale for a limited time with all profits going to Chilterns MS Centre.

Mmmm another tasty GBBO bake! Karen & Laura from our Thame chocolaterie created this delicious Pistachio & Cherry Roulade for this weeks Rumsey’s Bake Off. All profit goes to Chilterns MS Centre so you can treat yourself whilst helping others!

Rumsey’s chocolate bars are now available in both chocolateries. We have created 5 different bars from 5 different origins of chocolate. They range from a creamy 36% milk chocolate to a strong 75% dark chocolate bar. We only had small batches of each chocolate and have managed to make almost 100 bars - but when they are gone, they are gone!

Supposedly it’s International Chocolate Day today, now that is something we are happy to celebrate! These little chocolate buttons are a complimentary treat that you’ll get served alongside all our drinks at Rumsey’s.

Rumsey’s Bake Off special this week: Le Gateaux Vert! A pistachio cake, with pistachio butter cream and marzipan fondant. Just like on GBBO it’s been coloured naturally using spinach! We are selling these in both chocolateries with profits going to our charity partner Chilterns MS Centre. Get it before it’s gone!

Christmas is 16 weeks today... our chocolate elves have just started work and we have some exciting plans ahead. Christmas countdown is on!

The Rumsey’s Bake Off is back! Each week one of our team will recreate a GBBO challenge and we’ll be selling their delicious creations in our chocolateries with proceeds going to our charity partner Chilterns MS Centre. First up is Jo and her Waggon Wheels.

Wow we’ve been totally overwhelmed by the demand and feedback from our chocolate bar workshops, so we’ve managed to squeeze in an extra date. Call us on 01844 260303 or pop in to book as we expect the spaces will go fast.

Children will be taught how to pipe freshly tempered chocolate into our bar moulds. Our chocolatiers will help ensure they create the perfect bars with even segments and creative decorations. They will be able to add flavours and further decorations before leaving them to set.
Whilst the bars are setting children will get the chance to design and draw their own bar wrappers. Each child will also get a to enjoy an ice cream milkshake or hot chocolate whilst they get creativ...e!
Finally they’ll wrap their chocolate bars, with their very own wrappers, ready to take home.
£20 per child (including over £6 worth of chocolate to take home).
Sessions last one hour, for ages 5-13yrs.
We have 2-3pm and 3-4pm sessions on this date.
A spectating adult must accompany, although they can sit separately and enjoy a peaceful coffee if they wish!

Nothing like Rumsey's chocolate macadamia chocs- heavenly. The hot chocolate is divine too. Can't wait for next visit.

Loved the food. Really tasty sandwiches especially the salmon with Thai chutney. They overcharged by £6. 25. Three items on bill not ordered. Luckily I noticed. Would have been nice to get the bill as normal at the table not asked to pay at the till and then get the receipt.

Visited for a light lunch, no waffles with yogurt and fresh fruit after 12pm?!?! One sandwich maker so our second option of a toasted sandwich was going take at least 20 minutes, two had been ordered before us. Not the young waitresses fault and she did apologise, but come on!! Maybe the management should visit the competitors and see what’s on offer. Unfortunately we left and went to Jack & Alice where they do waffles after 12pm and breakfast all day � such a Shame!
