THE IMPORTANCE OF RECONCILIATION BETWEEN BROTHERS AND FAMILY MEMBERS
إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ فَأَصْلِحُوا بَيْنَ أَخَوَيْكُمْ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ
The believers are but brothers, so make reconciliation between your brothers and fear ALLAH that you may receive mercy.... (49:10)
وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا وَاذْكُرُوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنتُمْ أَعْدَاءً فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم بِنِعْمَتِهِ إِخْوَانًا
Hold firmly to the rope of ALLAH all together and do not become divided. Remember the favor of ALLAH upon you, when you were enemies and he brought your hearts together and you became brothers by his favor. (3:103)
Although we use the word “brotherhood,” what we really mean is a faith-based community that includes both men and women as brothers and sisters in religion.
وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتُ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ ۚ يَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَيُقِيمُونَ الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَيُطِيعُونَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ سَيَرْحَمُهُمُ اللَّهُ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ
The believing men and believing women are allies of one another. They enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and establish prayer and give charity and obey ALLAH and His Messenger. ALLAH will have mercy upon them, for ALLAH is Almighty and Wise. (9:71)

وَلَوۡ جَعَلۡنٰهُ قُرۡاٰنًا اَعۡجَمِيًّا لَّقَالُوۡا لَوۡلَا فُصِّلَتۡ اٰيٰتُهٗ ؕ ءَؔاَعۡجَمِىٌّ وَّعَرَبِىٌّ​ ؕ قُلۡ هُوَ لِلَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا هُدًى وَشِفَآءٌ​ ؕ وَ الَّذِيۡنَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ فِىۡۤ اٰذَانِهِمۡ وَقۡرٌ وَّهُوَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ عَمًى​ ؕ اُولٰٓـئِكَ يُنَادَوۡنَ مِنۡ مَّكَانٍۢ بَعِيۡدٍ
Had We revealed this as a non-Arabic QURAN they would have said: “Why were its verses not clearly expounded?
... How strange, a non-Arabic scripture and an Arab audience!
Tell them: “It is a guidance and a healing to the believers.But to those who do not believe, it serves as a plug in their ears and a covering over their eyes.It is as if they are being called from a place far away. (41:44)

The reality today is that most taweez which are sold to unaware victims contain things which no layman can decipher!These taweez contain numbers, grids, letters, diagrams, symbols, etc. which are all based on the practices of magicians and Cabbalists.

"Ruwayfa' ibn Thaabit (RA) narrated that the Messenger of ALLAH (SAW) said: Oh Ruwayfa', perhaps you will live long after me so inform the people that whoever ties a knot in his beard or wears a string necklace or cleans his private parts with the excrement of animals bones, then verily Muhammad is free from him" - ( Ahmed: 4/108 and 109, and Abu Daawud, no. 36, al-Mishkaat, no. 351 and Saheeh al-Jaami’, no. 7910)

THE REALITY OF THE EVIL EYE
Jabir(RA) narrates that Prophet Muhammad(SAW) said, “Most of those who die among my Ummah (followers) die because of the will and decree of ALLAH, and then because of the evil eye.”

... Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri (RA) reported:
The Messenger of ALLAH (ﷺ) used to seek protection against the evil of jinn and the evil eyes till Surah Falaq and Surah Nas were revealed. After they were revealed,he took to them for seeking ALLAH'S PROTECTION and left everything besides them. (At- Tirmidhi)

QURAN A MERCY TO MANKIND AND JINNKIND

... وَعِبَادُ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الَّذِينَ يَمْشُونَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ هَوْنًا وَإِذَا خَاطَبَهُمُ الْجَاهِلُونَ قَالُوا سَلَامًا The servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth in humility, and when the ignorant address them, they say words of peace. (SURAH FURQAN:VERSE 63)
وَإِذَا سَمِعُوا اللَّغْوَ أَعْرَضُوا عَنْهُ وَقَالُوا لَنَا أَعْمَالُنَا وَلَكُمْ أَعْمَالُكُمْ سَلَامٌ عَلَيْكُمْ لَا نَبْتَغِي الْجَاهِلِينَ When they hear ill speech, they turn away from it and say: For us are our deeds, and for you are your deeds. Peace be upon you, we seek not the way of ignorance. (SURAH QASAS:VERSE 55)
فَاصْفَحْ عَنْهُمْ وَقُلْ سَلَامٌ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ So turn aside from them and say words of peace, but soon they are going to know. (SURAH ZUKHRUF:VERSE 89)

PROTECTION AGAINST HARM
Nothing is more natural to a mother and father than the desire to protect their family from danger.Harm can come to us in many forms,including that of the unseen world.
In addition to the dangers we can see, there are also tribulations such as evil eye, black magic and the jinn. Though most of us cannot perceive these phenomena, we know from our tradition that they exist.
... “And from the evil of the envier when he envies.” [113:5]
“Say, [O Muhammad], “It has been revealed to me that a group of the jinn listened and said, ‘Indeed, we have heard an amazing QURAN.” [72:1]
Thankfully,the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) has taught us many ways that we can protect ourselves and our children from the dangers in this world.
