Love the Rushcutters. Staff work very hard to give you a good experience. Food fabulous. I tried the new Autumn menu, Game pie it was to die for. Sooooo Delicious. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. No rushing you off the table like other places I could mention. Lots of choice on the Gin menu 😉

Great food and some amazing prices. You can either eat bar type food or gourmet style. I had sea bass, poached egg, hollandaise, spinach and crushed baby potatoes for only £8 and it was lovely!!!!

Really disappointed. After hearing so many good things we went for a family meal. We were seated quickly however it took 20 mins to receive our drinks and be asked if we were ready to order. The food then took a further 45mins to come. Once it arrived my daughters chicken wasn't cooked properly so it had to be sent back. Our food was lovely though. We were asked if we would like to see the desert menu, which never happened. After the total of 2 hours we asked for the bill. All in all service was slow and the staff weren't tentative. However the quality of food was nice when it eventually arrived.

Went on a Saturday evening. Very busy which proves its popularity. Food was good and well presented from a wide choice of menu options. We loved the atmosphere and the location. Just a bit overheated that particular night.

Really friendly staff and the food was pleasant. Very hot sitting in the pub/restaurant. No air conditioning. We asked for some warm water twice to heat up baby food but nothing ever turned up. Medium price points for food and drink. Lovely views of the river. Salt and pepper pots were empty. No children play facilities, baby change available. You can use Tesco points here.

This was a well designed restaurant with a lake for a view also the food is mouth watering with the best adult menu but tiny kids portions but it deserved 4.5 stars

Turned up at about 2 ish on a bank holiday Monday without a booking, on arrival a staff member acknowledged us and informed us the lady that arranges seating would be with us soon.

We were seated a few minutes later and given an A4 printed menu, Which was fine but unusual and asked if we would like a drink.

Our waitress came shortly after and took our order who was cheerful and made you feel comfortable.

I couldn't fault the meal or the fact that our waitress ensured we were alway good for drinks.

Overall the restaurant was clean and tidy, the staff were friendly and we found a parking space no problem, I would be happy to recommend it and return again myself .

Very good food. Most of the menu is inspired by traditional British cuisine.
Good ales and cocktails.
Lots of tables outside next to the river. Not the best of views but enjoyable enough on a summer afternoon.
The building is an old house with low ceilings and wood beams and columns everywhere.
Reserve a table before you go.
