Nice station. Slower and busier when your phone tourist high season - especially while they figure out how to use.

Don't take the stairs. I did it once. It is a LOT of steps.

There are lifts in the station but you should still climb stairs to get to the platform.

A Leslie Green Underground Station. Opened on 15 december 1906. A beauty forever. Go for the 171 steps spiral staircase once. After that effort, you can use one of the three lifts. Some nice eateries (with terraces) nearby.

It's a small and tight station yet very busy but the three lifts does the job ver well, there's also the 150 spiral staircase for the fitness lover.

This is a very small station and has access only to Piccadilly line
But it's very good and only lift accessible

User

NEVER TAKE THE STAIRS. The lift is faster anyway, even if there is a big line and only two working, trust me we experimented. Also, there is a mouse on one of the tracks that comes out to play in between trains. He's tiny and cute and I named him Russell. Say hi for me. I moved away and I miss him. He never gets up on the platform, so don't worry.

There are too few lifts. Beware the spiral stairs. They just keep on going round and round and round...

User

Station is quite old. Would have expected more from Britain's capital.

Ugh! To Many Stairs!

User

Do not take the narrow spiral stairs from the line to the entrance. It is not for those who have problems with, bad knees, hips and claustrophobia..

User

Busy station with only two lifts. Its deep underground so taking the stairs is not recommended and takes some time.
