Currently using their Brompton bike hire. Great service and a really good day rate. Makes a great alternative to a taxi at the other end.

I messed up and tried to drop the bike off just before 7 on a Saturday, but they close at 4. When I took it in the next day they were open, they were really understanding and didn't charge any extra. Highly recommend!

Fixed mystery a creak on my roadie, mechanical magicians. + Good selection of bits in the shop or can order them in if not in stock.

Friendly and helpful service and amazing value for money. My boyfriend and me picked 2 bikes up on Saturday and cycled to the peak district. They were lightweight and easy to ride with plenty of gears to get us up the city hills. Really easy drop off too. Will definitely hire bikes from here again... But maybe choose a less windy day!

The folks at Russell's were phenomenal! From pre-planning via email prior to our trip to Sheffield from the states to on-the-ground recommendations for bike treks and routes, the whole crew was super helpful. The bikes and bike shed at night was super easy and simple. Our bike ride in the Peak district was one of the highlights of our trip - thanks!

really irresponsible people. we booked bikes for 2 days from Good Friday onwards -emailed and called the shop to make sure that they are open on that day as we really needed 2bikes, someone called Joe took details, guaranteed that bikes will be waiting for us...we came to Sheffield from London- 4 HRS ON A COACH!!- and the shop was closed. there was only note on the door ' closed now open later'.no email. no phone call. nothing. we tried to call around 10times until late evening- left voice messages, emailed....nobody got back to us to even say sorry, especially that they ruined our plans for the Easter Weekend. thanks guys.
