Visited Russell's through the week and a very nice experience indeed, that Danish lager springs to mind. Seriously tho, well worth trying this award winning fish & chip shop. Two tables to sit at and watch the world go by as you enjoy your treat. Would definitely visit again, you don't get an award for nothing.

The term "cheap as chips" doesn't really apply to Russell's. I would expect a lot more chips for £2.30

Also asked for a bun with no butter (I have milk allergies) and the woman told me that all their buns were buttered. I just think it would be fairer on customers for them to keep at least a few unbuttered buns? Also the woman was very rude to me after I changed my order as I couldn't have the bun.

The chips were nice but not worth the price or the shoddy service.
