There aren't enough words to express how grateful I am to Sandra and all the team at Russet Greyhound Sanctuary. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to rehome my beautiful whippet and the support over the last 9 months has been phenomenal. Sandra only ever has the dog's best interests at heart and I couldn't have asked for more. I received the phone call today to say that he's in his new home and wept tears of joy! You really don't understand what you've done for both myself and Ghost. You're all amazing and I will forever be praising the sanctuary and the work you do, it's simply incredible. Thank you once again for all of your help and for finding my angel a new, amazing family. All my love, Joi xxx

Thank you so much for helping us choose Romeo :) [now Paddy] . He is just perfect for us, a gentle dog, full of love and with a tail like a windmill to show his happiness. He certainly helps fill the gap left by our lovely Maggie our first greyhound from Russet

Such a lovely place Sandra and her helpers are so dedicated to helping the Grey's find good home's respect to you all RUSSET has a family feel about the place.

Sandra is the best matchmaker of dogs & families you could wish for. She has worked her magic twice for us and our family is happier and stronger for her intervention! The two black greyhounds she has homed with us have had fantastic characters and Sandra has been supportive and knowledgeable whenever we have sought her help. Can't praise her, Graham and Russet highly enough.

Sandra is passionate about her work and runs a wonderful sanctuary. She is determined that these beautiful hounds find their forever sofa and I get the feeling not much can stop her! I went to drop off donations after losing my own beloved elderly hound and ended up a week later with the beautiful Bridie sleeping next to me on my sofa. Sandra gets a feeling about you and knows better than you what you need! Thank you Sandra, Bridie has indeed started to heal me (but you knew that already, didn't you?!) ÔøΩ

Sandra is amazing so passionate about the beautiful greys. They are loved and truly cared for. When we take Ginny and Freddy to visit they wag their tails at Sandra which says to me what a greyt person she is. Keep up the good work all of u. X

Sandra does a wonderful job. Since moving to Camborne 9yrs ago I have had 2 beautiful dogs from russett, Daisy and Lily, Daisy had 2 teeth left when she matched her up with my greyhound max . Max has sadly since passed on but they were a wonderful pair as are my current pair and I use russett every time me and my wife have to be away. So thank you Sandra and carry on with the wonderful work u r doing

Must be the only rescue kennel that includes sofa roaching in their rehabilitation! Happy hounds looked after by happy folk until their new life in their forever home. Just brilliant!

Love it .they not mechanical...what i mean is they do such a great job cause they love the dogs and with the love going round it shows and thats amaing and hope for these great animals ÔøΩ

It’s a lovely place, Sandra is great and a lovely lady, we can’t wait to bring home nutmeg, all the dogs are so lovely

Fantastic people who really care about greyhounds and selecting the right one for you.. I've had buddy for a week now and he's awesome, he's always putting a smile on my face.. if you think a greyhound is for you, you can't get better help and service than the russet greyhound sanctuary..

Brilliant work. Sandra and her team do a fantastic job at rehoming the greyhounds and are really supportive when you take on a new dog. We just couldn't be without our greyhound now and we have got over most of the teething troubles. Worth all the effort.

Amazing to be completely honest, the staff / voulenteers are so kind and helpful, the greyhounds there are treated exactly how they should&more, thanks to Sandra and the volunteers we now our beautiful 'muffin' thanks so much.
